i just use a Ball Joint Separator Pickle Fork and a big sledge to get my crank off and it works really fast. also used a tire iron a few times no need for all these tools. just think outside the box \and most of the time it will work!!!

Third, learn the name of the tools if you are trying to tell people how to use the dohickys. Finally, test your new crank arm by finding a high cliff and ride off it.

Hi,

using the wrong name for bike tools is not a good thing.

The devise you will need is called a Crank extractor this is the small tool he is using to remove the crank arm from the bottom bracket.

To order a Crank Extractor look on ebay or your local bike shop or on the net.
