Another Flonzaley offering! How utterly delightful. Thanks once again. Any more of this quartet or any Flonzaley on 78 (especially ones I've not heard) anyone? Of course people can only be aware of my postings and I have probably everything transferred to CD. I admit I'm greedy when it comes to great performances. I must post more myself.
Chas, Thank you once again for you kind words. This is such an hauntingly beautiful piece, I consider myself very lucky to own a copy of this recording.
Congratulations with your No. 300. Thank you for celebrating with this wonderful Dvořák composition. The strings sound comes through extraordinarlily well on this acoustical recording.
Kspm01, Thank you very much! It is a beautifully haunting piece. The Red Seals of this era seem to suffer from more surface noise than they should and i've heard many criticize VTMCo.'s records when compared to HMV's of the same period for their lack of fullness. This recording fills my room beautifully. I have no complaints.
John, congratulations on your 300th Youtube video! That's 300 songs from the early years played on vintage phonographs that you've made available to us. Thanks!
Rocky, As Bartles & Jaymes used to say-Thank you for your support! Everyone! I couldn't do it without the able assistance of my friend Mordeth and all you fine folks out there watching and encouraging me.

BTW this defines tonality and great intonation.
Sorry I'll quit blathering now.

Hard to believe this is an acoustic recording. No doubt the Victrola helps the sound achieved here.

The Flonzaley's were the first professional string quartet players in the world. Very good recording!
