hades isn't akin to lucifer, in the christian mythos there are three "demonic archetypes". the devil satan and lucifer...lucifer is evil in heaven, satan is evil in hell and the devil is evil on earth. although none are evil they just want to overthrown god for 3 different reasons, lucifer believes he can do a better job than god, satan just wants the end of existence and the devil i'm not sure about but i think it's because he has nothing better to do...this is still a minor point though

Is Zeus wearing another type of Golden Fleece at 5:03??? cause if it is, it makes sense for him to wear one in this game. Because at the end of GOW 2 Kratos tricked him right before he was gonna kill him. So if Kratos does something like that again, Zeus could stop him.

Also Zeus made him wonder the desert until his flesh would pail. look at 5:54, pretty fucked up skin. 3:08 is probably the gates to hell, Cerberus is the guardian of the gates in hell in Greek Mythology so expect to see it when entering the underworld. I can't believe some of the fanboys commenting on this video. Who cares what system you like better, I for one have never seen a game with scale like this. I find that the PS3 seems to be moving forward with its exclusives. They all push the limits, I can't think of a 360 game that really makes me say "wow" like this trailer. That being said, the 360 is a good choice; whatever fits your fancy.
There just not simply not enough good games to play on xbox 360 and more games coming out on ps3.. some game on ps3 look much better.. some games on xbox 360 look a little better but for games like uncharted 2 MGS 4 Heavy rain god of war 3 and few others are seem to be beating Xbox360.. No wonder why mircosoft brought sony for metal gear rising for xbox
4:02, 5:36, 6:12 That is not Atlas. Im pretty sure that Titan is Cronos :) the mountain with chains on it looks like it could be Pandora's Temple, also the color of the titan is light brown just like Cronos.
I agree, that looks like Cronos to me and it appears there is a FACE at the top of the mountain. Also, the cut of him swinging across the bridge in the "unknown" city is the spot in the Temple of the Fates (GOW II) where we see Icarus before Kratos beats the crap out of him during the fall to Atlas. Since the means for Kratos to control time is still there, he might have to defend it from the Gods trying to take it in order to save Olympus...
Have both 360 and ps3...ps3 has yet to impress me graphically. The only game that impresses me on ps3 is Uncharted 1 and 2. THATS IT! Period. If anything some of the games run smoother on 360. Take Bayonetta for example

@tren979797 You do realise a multi plat running on another system better has nothing to do with the system's hardware or capabilities. It depends on what system the devs back. For example Beyonetta was developed by SEGA on the PS3 whereas it was developed by Platinum Games on the 360 port.

Firstly, sorry for assuming that you were a fanboy. Look at MGS4. A game so detailed that it can't be on the dvd format. Sony Santa Monica have stated that all scenes(GOWIII) are using the in game engine. I don't know the precise details on multiplats. But if you have 2 different devs working on 2 ports,there is going to be a difference in quality. For example Arkham Aslyum. The game ran smoother on PS3. The devs put more effort into the PS3 port, this is shown PS3 got the exclusive content.

I own Dante's Inferno and played it already. Not only was I able to beat it unbelievably quick, the storyline isn't that great and the character design of Dante is the exact copy of Kratos's story and background. It's so much like God of War it's funny, but it's still a good game. That's why i got it.

Its not zeus because Zeus' sandals aren't long, his garment is different, and even his arm guards have a completely different design. The image of Zeus in GOW3 is already on the internet. That's not him.

It's called inspiration. DMC has no were near the same amount of detail and scale. The setting is completely different. And OMG it uses red orbs. Thats like calling up every game that you collect coins a mario rip off. Look at dead space. Not once peace of the gameplay is original. It draws inspiration from other games like Resi 4 and Metroid. And still manages to be an awesome game. Then look at Dantes Inferno, it is a cut and paste of GOW whereas GOW is inspired by DMC not copied.

Looks absolutely beautiful looking game. It's a shame they reuse characters from before, such as Atlas. But in that respect, titan fingers have never looked better!!! Plus GoW is badass.

4:02, 5:36, 6:12 That is not Atlas. Im pretty sure that Titan is Cronos :) the mountain with chains on it looks like it could be Pandora's Temple, also the color of the titan is light brown just like Cronos.

I agree, that looks like Cronos to me and it appears there is a FACE at the top of the mountain. Also, the cut of him swinging across the bridge in the "unknown" city is the spot in the Temple of the Fates (GOW II) where we see Icarus before Kratos beats the crap out of him during the fall to Atlas. Since the means for Kratos to control time is still there, he might have to defend it from the Gods trying to take it in order to save Olympus...

Have both 360 and ps3...ps3 has yet to impress me graphically. The only game that impresses me on ps3 is Uncharted 1 and 2. THATS IT! Period. If anything some of the games run smoother on 360. Take Bayonetta for example

@tren979797 You do realise a multi plat running on another system better has nothing to do with the system's hardware or capabilities. It depends on what system the devs back. For example Beyonetta was developed by SEGA on the PS3 whereas it was developed by Platinum Games on the 360 port.

Firstly, sorry for assuming that you were a fanboy. Look at MGS4. A game so detailed that it can't be on the dvd format. Sony Santa Monica have stated that all scenes(GOWIII) are using the in game engine. I don't know the precise details on multiplats. But if you have 2 different devs working on 2 ports,there is going to be a difference in quality. For example Arkham Aslyum. The game ran smoother on PS3. The devs put more effort into the PS3 port, this is shown PS3 got the exclusive content.

I own Dante's Inferno and played it already. Not only was I able to beat it unbelievably quick, the storyline isn't that great and the character design of Dante is the exact copy of Kratos's story and background. It's so much like God of War it's funny, but it's still a good game. That's why i got it.

It's called inspiration. DMC has no were near the same amount of detail and scale. The setting is completely different. And OMG it uses red orbs. Thats like calling up every game that you collect coins a mario rip off. Look at dead space. Not once peace of the gameplay is original. It draws inspiration from other games like Resi 4 and Metroid. And still manages to be an awesome game. Then look at Dantes Inferno, it is a cut and paste of GOW whereas GOW is inspired by DMC not copied.
