The smartest way to move forward without killing your self its by not buying a toyota . I guess the japs forgot that the best way to make business its by not killing their customers with their products . They should rebadge the toyota camry , tundra , sienna and prius in to toyota kamikaze car , kamikaze truck , kamikaze family killer & eco kamikaze ...
Look at Microsoft windows, it upgrades many times year by year.
Every country look at this big issue, they will very carefully to invest in USA.
Let US people "buy American", other countries do not do business with USA , it is not good news for them , but it is also not good news for USA. They got more benefit from doing business with other countries.
I do not trust USA. It is unfair game for other countries.
I never called you any names. However your liberal use of words like cunt do nothing to get an intellectual point across. Yes, free speech for all. It just means people are allowed to say what they want, even if it makes them sound like uneducated juveniles. IMO, Toyotas are no better than any other make.
never owned a gm car, are they really that amazing-i am considering selling my race car to make room for a Z06. my dad?-yeah im sure you and him have alot in common.
im not exactly a fan of political correctness-if a few more people would speak whats on their mind instead BSing to appease someone we would all be better off.
We take out 50 Afghan civilians with a bomb and nobody gets dragged in front of Congress on that one. Toyota gets accused of causing half a dozen deaths and look what happens. Where are the anti-war protesters now? I thought Obama was bringing all the troops back? He's getting more people killed than Bush and Toyota combined! But for some reason, that's perfectly O.K..
toyota deaths are at 36 right now. 2600 incidents. wanting answers for the dead afghans i agree with-but that doesnt detract from the BS toyota attempted to pull either.
@1qazabcd, I feel your pain. I see the desperation in your comments. Don't worry. Even if Toyota crumbles you will still have a life. Silly name calling makes you sound like a 12 year old. How about some thoughtful, intelligent, and educated remarks. Maybe people will listen to you a little more. Please stop making up stuff. It's easy to research the truth.
My mom bought her '97 Pontiac Grand Prix GT in Dec. 1996. 'Til now it's needed new tires, battery, and one air conditioner recharge. That's it. My 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T has been flawless too. These are solid well built cars as are most American, German, and Japanese cars today. Korean cars have come a long way too and are right up there in quality. Right now Ford and Honda are reaping the most benefits from Toyota's problems.
Now that preowned Toyata's resale values are plummeting, many people will wisely consider other car makes that are of higher quality. My brothers Lexus and Toyota have already lost 50% of their value in just a couple of months. I told him to unload them when this mess with Toyata first surfaced but he procrastinated. It will take years for Toyota to recover from their misdeeds and they deserve it.
"as they RARELY have problems" 8.5 million in the last 2 months and counting. "trust you"-seriously?is this not your comment? "At least Toyota does something about it. The American firms do nothing if there is something wrong with your car!" you blatently lie then ask that we "trust you".
LOL-sure ricerfag. you post pure bullshit and want to be compared to me? im so far above you, youll need a stepladder just to kiss my ass. natural selection IS taking care of anyone dumb enough to buy a pos toyota.
Actually 1qazabcd, the US car companies have a good record for issuing recalls and implementing them. Toyota officials are in hot water now for allegedly hiding information about all these defective cars they sold which has led to unnecessary deaths.
Fight Club scene: A new car built by my company leaves somewhere traveling 60 mph. The rear differential locks up The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now should we initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field (A); multiply it by the probable rate of failure (B); Then multiply the result by the average out of court settlement (C); AxBxC= X If X is less than the cost of a recall, we dont do one.
Will not disagree with past performance of that specific platform line.
Truth is Toyota got caught. They got caught crunching their numbers that quality, yes I know it sounds hard to believe, dropped when they decided to grow fast in a short period of time.
I am sure that if you had a family member who was injured or died from one of these recalled Toyota's you would not be calling it "ridiculous"
Chrysler LH Platform (Intrepid, 300M, Concorde, LHS) has "HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS" of NHTSA steering complaints and no one gives as shit about that! There have been "thousands" of complains of "complete loss of steering control" There are photos of wrecks, people have been injured or killed. There are photos of inner tie rod bolts even snapping off! In fact, it's the worst steering design in automotive history! Nobody cares about that though!
Corollas were made in a joint Toyota-GM manufacturing plane in California. 'Nuff Said...
