I can even imagine it as a Chicano bomb lowrider. Put a Cologne or GM V6 under the hood and it'll make a nice highway hauler. The possibilities are endless.
I'd like one, I'd be looking at importing one from india to the uk. does anyone know if it would even meet UK type approval without spending a fortune on it?

There is a remote chance that there is one HM Amby coming up for sale. i know its in London at the moment, but it does come up to Notts now and again and he's on about getting rid soon. he's waiting on the delivery of a new Exhaust system from Calcutta, then he's bringing it up to us to fit it for him at our local garage.

naaaa it will take 2 weeks driving night and day with 3+ drivers.
the route will start from the wagha border PAKISTAN-IRAN-TURKEY THEN BULGARIA (Once in the Eu you our safe)
however must have visas, green card for the car and understanding of islamic law *important* as the arab world can be very harsh at times.
excluding the cost of the car it will cost about £1000 for all in the car (petrol,food,bribes) and the time of your life :)
