I too am a veteran LP agent. Worked with a great team. Not an easy job many fights unfortunately. Left after they cut hours and started making LP's work by themselves. Yeah right! Ok yeah I have respect for LPOs....Mr. Vet LP down there seems he wanted the job for the fighting and not the principles. All LEOs will tell you LPs are shit so be glad you get respect from those that understand you h9ybt. Those LPs have my respect in place of yours, I would never want someone as full of pride and prejudice against your own to have respect for me.

So what CAN you do to the guy if you cant beat the shit out of him and drag him back in? i saw one video of two LP guys on youtube in a mall they were holding him down and he was resisting so one guy started punching him in the face till he stopped seemd to work good they shoulda took that guys legs away from him and choked him up some till he started "cooperating"

It does suck when they get away. Guy was on something to get away from two good size guys. And for the knife comment, armed robbery for a $20 item is a shitty way to do time, and probably getting your ass kicked.

First off, it all comes down to training and it appears that none of these LP guys has any in defensive tactics. Second, what did the bad-guy do? Is it really wort risking injury to yourself or others for someone that took a low dollar item? Then, one of the LP guys returns for his hat while his partner is still fighting w/ the other guy. They suck

Just follow them to the car and have the police arrest them. There is no point in risking injury to LP or to customers fighting some idiot like this. You don't get paid enough.
And yes, I used to be in LP, so I know it sucks not being able to just kick their butts and drag them back to the store.

I too am a veteran LP agent. Worked with a great team. Not an easy job many fights unfortunately. Left after they cut hours and started making LP's work by themselves. Yeah right! Out of my career of 9 years have never been drug like that. Hope he's alright. Stay safe all my LP brothers and sisters.

Your an idiot. All your doing is adding on some major years in prison just by having that knife on you if they do catch you. Assault with a deadly weapon, you are better off leaving that knife at home. That type of thing gets you shot.
