I wish that the American Voice Actors had the passion and intensity of the Japanese Voice Actors. However I wish this series would be so popular and well received that they'd bring the original VAs back in to revoice this. Even though the Japanese VAs have passion during the fight scenes, they all sound the same (voice tone and inflection) in the regular scenes. There's no Character in the voices between the different bots. ShoutFactory released all the Headmaster Japanese episodes (Season 4)

On the plus side is their role in the series diminishes and Ginrai and the other Pretenders take the spotlight, so it wasn't a bad series overall. I'd rate much more highly than the God-awful American 4th season.

7:51 Lol, funny how they show Chromedome saving Rodimus even though he's meant to be the leader, sure doesn't look it here, even in Headmasters his role was minimal despite being the supposed leader, which for me made it irritating to watch, even in battle they'd disregard Rodimus' orders and just do their own thing - they couldn't get rid of him quick enough to make Fort Max the new leader. ;p

im my country we whatch the masterforce series firts of any other. then they give us headmasters (i didn even know there was a US G1 TF. I tough the original series wass masterforce ( i kinda like the masterforce more than the others)

Lol, the Japanese are notorious for putting their kids in mortal danger to save the world (in anime), in Pokemon they let kids go out into the wide world to capture monsters and tame them for battle, in Shaman King it's a similar thing but with ghosts, and alot of the Shamans are kids. In alot of the Japanese Transformers series they let kids go around with giant robots who fight (I know this was present in the G1 series, but in the Jap series it's alot more prominent.).

@Robertmus No.. kids are annoying and what have ruined all Transformers spin off series since G1. Look at the success of The Beast Wars after G1. There were no kids in it ruining everything. Kids and teens are annoying. They don't have to be, but for some reason writers make them that way. Overly cocky, always getting in the way, smarter than alien beings from another dimension, etc. etc. It's just annoying. G1 was the only series that handled teens the right way. They knew their place.
