  • Awesome as usual. XD

  • pearl jam is just too fuckin great

  • Gosh, i don't think there is one moment of listening to Pearl Jam where I don't feel the greatest feelings any person can feel.

  • Just a phenomenal song.

  • ooh youngins :o) we danced this ~v

  • Wtf? Why would you dislike this? Why?? WHYYYY?????

  • @HaLfDeAdArtist1 Because they mistake the dislike button for ''Dis-I-like'' (;

  • This song gets stuck in my head all the time.

  • first heard this song in 1992 at "drop in the park" at magnuson park in seattle. not only was the show epic it was also free!! what a great era for music!!

  • This band has always made amazing music that has lasted the test of time. I can always go back and get lost in a song and think about what was going through their heads when they were creating this. Good times.

  • Never will there be another decade like it.

  • love it. my brother has lived in seattle for like 20 years. I was there when all this shit broke out. what times they were.

  • @MrGreenfitness Damn man, I envy you.

  • shows how good a band are when they have to kick songs like this and state of love and trust off an album.

  • @kmitch92 Don't forget Alone or Just a girl :D.

  • "If i knew where it was, I would take you there. But there's much more than this."

  • I wish this was on Ten XD oh out-takes XP

  • sicksicksick song

  • not trying to be rude but....if you call this grunge....you are pretty goddamn stupid.....this is great rock music period....

  • Great band, great era, great movie great soundtrack... the 90's were awesome.

  • lurn tu speil

  • I play this song when i want to get out of a fucked up situation, and just drive to nowhere...as far away from societyy as i can....i always end up in the redwoods from the bay area.lol.....and it works for me. i thank ET for pearl jam

  • Cada vez que escucho esta cancion recuerdo el tiempo en el que los escuche por primera vez

  • One of my first PJ songs. Still lives in my heart each and everyday.

  • so hard to find this damn video, but worth the effort.

  • the 6 people who dislike this video thought this was Pearl Jam's JUST BREATHE

  • Runaway my son and see it all, ahhhh see the world...

  • im here for the tunes man!

and id like some chicken spaghetti

  • The big shame: Given the media today, this song, along with most of Pearl Jam's other finest, would have reached the to 10 in all charts!!!!!!

You just have to listen to the the mediocre crap released today to realise we were better off off 15 plus years ago!!!

    LONG LIVE PEARL JAM!!!!!

  • @edenkor u dont have to listen to it its not shoved into ur ear, it is shit i agree but just turn off the fuckin station, ps this is a underrated pj song sooooooooooo slickk!!

  • Where the hell is the 'love this' button? And anyone who doesn't like this is absolutely clueless.

  • Anyone notices that the extended guitar solo starting from 4:00 bears some resemblance to the the solo in Cream's White Room.

  • Always thought this song was underrated. Big sound. This and leash might be my two favorites...always a difficult choice.

  • @pearljammer13 this is good, but Leash, no contest...

  • IF I KNEW WHERE IT WAAAS I WOULD TAAAKE YOUUU THERE, THERE'S MUCH MORE THAN THIIISSS!!! I love that bit.

  • @arsebrain agreed

  • fav pearl jam song

  • wow so many more reasons to love pearl jam, I have to say, this is the best rock band in the world<3

  • who does nt like it?

  • The song is about getting brief flashes of Intuition (Higher Consciousness) and longing to see the bigger picture (enabling him to spread the message to the rest of the Planet)

  • Comment removed

  • I had this poster ( pic above) on my bedroom wall when I was 15 years old.. 18 years later still my band of choice :)

  • I played this song to death (along with State of Love and Trust) when I got my hands on the Singles soundtrack. Eddie's voice is so spell bounding =)

  • Essa musica e muito boa !!!!

  • awesome awesome awesome song, why pearl jam is forever untouchable.

  • Jeff plays a fretless bass in this song, that can be heard clearly.

  • Always wanted to hear this song in concert when Pearl Jam plays. I scream "BREATH"

  • Yes, yes, yes.

  • SICK>>>

  • i havent seen singles in a while, might have to check it out this weekend

  • check out the demo version of breath its awsome.

  • i love dave abbruzzese!

  • great fucking song

  • Molly Hatchet came from Florida. Some great guitar there. Gator Country!

  • I finally found the movie 'Singles' for sale near where I work. I'll be buying it this weekend; because the soundtrack is so fantastic, not to mention the endless cameos in the film. And Cameron Crowe & Matt Dillon seem to be pretty damn good at what they do too, ha-ha! Its about time.

  • I live in Florida and I'm a effing beast. LOL JK :)

  • I knew they'd be someone bitching and whining on here. This is a good band but its fans SUCK! myself excluded.

  • i've never seen Singles.I might see it,seeing as how tv has gone to crap.

  • The soundtrack for the movie Singles was worth every penny.

    Pearl Jam

    Alice in Chains

    The Smashing Pumpkins

    Soundgarden & Chris Cornell

    Jimi Hendrix

    Mother Love Bone

    Need I go on?

  • @jessemaurais Mudhoney !

  • stop fighting take a BREATH and listen to the music man

  • genius

  • am i right in saying this was unreleased and is on none of pearl jams albums apart from gay arse greatest hits which im not buyin cos i have every album but not this song so im confused

  • @pantsface111 "Singles" soundtrack. "State of love and trust " is on that one, too

  • @pantsface111 : Mate its on the "Singles" movie soundtrack, along with another Pearl Jam song called "State of Love and Trust". Check it out :)

  • @pantsface111 How is the greatets hits gay? It's one of the best albums I've ever purchased. and I'll still buy any of the old ones I don't own already, as well as the new ones. But when you say you "have every album", you mean you downloaded it illegaly. Ah, right. When the truth comes out it all makes sense.

  • @MartyMoves haha no... between me n my dad we have all the albums in some cases 2 of one album and also iv seen them live twice so dont go saying i aint a real fan its just fact it was a cheap shot of them to release new songs on a cd where all but 2 or 3 is it? i dont have n btw the greatest hits of a band is never the best its just which singles did best get ur own opinion of there best songs instead of buying the greatest hits

  • @pantsface111 Riiiight. Because I think it's a great album (and anyone who says it isn't clearly has an issue) that automatically makes it my favourites? Says the so-called fan, who thinks its a stupid album. You're nothing more than a hypocrite. how old are you, 12? Were you even born before 1990?

You just called a Pearl Jam album "gay", then go on to say that you're this big "fan". You're so full of shit man. Posers like you have no place in this real group of fans. Go kill yourself buddy.

  • @pantsface111 Oh, and by the way. In case you hadn't noticed, all those "gay" songs, are on all the albums that you *claim* to own. Yes, even on the ones you supposedly have 2 of. But here's some food for thought:

Suppose you can't afford to buy them (or even TWO, in your case. you big spender you). What then does a fan do, who wants to contribute to the band, but doesn't have a lot of cash. Gee, why not buy an AMAZING double-album!!

I bought 2 of them and gave one to a friend. You prick.

  • @MartyMoves you started an argument over an internet site we both like this band but slightly disagree with each other over the greatest hits album. mate whats wrong with you lol woman troubles? i dont even know what your trying to say know, are you better than me?

  • this is my favorite PJ song

  • 3:28

  • FUCK JUSTIN BIBER!!!!

  • @XZOADS Okay we get it!! Beiber sucks now shut the fuck up.

  • @XZOADS who the fuck is justin bieber

  • if i knew where it was

    i would take you there

there's much more then this !!!

  • I live in florida :) disney sucks donkey scrotum hair.

  • One of my fav...

    PJ rocks !!!!

  • the 4 people that dislike this video can go suck dick

  • @bond284 they can't BREATH ha ha ha

  • @bond284 they are 6 now!

  • I don't seem why people are fighting. Shit shut up and toke up that's what I do when I hear this song. Nothing better than a nice blunt and Pearl Jam.

  • lol wtf was those comments about this song is great one of the two great grunge bands of the nineties

  • @nirvanaXpearljam96 i'm guessing by your name that the other ones Nirvana? I would say the two best known grunge bands of the nineties but whatever..

  • this song brings back so many great memories, great soundtrack, fuck i miss the 90's !

  • I could listen to this song all day every day for the rest of my life...yet I cant figure out what it is that I love so much about it???

  • Grunge is Actually a real good name, @Grandalmo That smell is teen spirit

  • Duhhhh, whats that smell?

  • @dlbbc94 Pearl Jam is not considered Indie, its Grunge all the way

  • At least indie sort of exists whereas "grunge" is a meaningless term made up by some know-nothing hack rock journalist on a deadline

  • @copyvio What does it matter what people call it? Don't get caught up in labels.

  • I'm sorry....Boo.

    You can do better.

  • yes martin it might be my favorite as well. and dont worry you dont have to describe the genius that was early pearl jam. fans know exactly what you mean.

  • singles soundtrack its awesome!!!!

  • maybe my favorit PJ song. But there are so many to choose from! I have like 10 favorite songs. PJ isn't just music, it's something more, something I can't describe. PJ and Tool are gods, at least in opinion..

  • this will never grow old....awesome!

  • be alternatieve

    fuck the commercie

  • freakin' good ;)

  • Eddie's voice...... FUCK. Wow.... this is really good.

  • great song! 5 stars

  • I like this PJ song...it's very ninties!!

  • i get fucking goose bums every time i hear this song

  • I believe this is one of their best songs-----should of had radio play.

  • "If I knew where it was I would take you there ....there's much more

than this ....much more than this ...Woh see the World" *it's The Human Spirit ladies & gentleman :)

  • 5000 bomus

  • @nahual33 Oh, no! It's under 9000!

  • Brings back so many memories of the 90's!

  • This is a great tune

  • el manso tema de pearl jam

    grunge alive

  • I missed this great song! excelent

  • this song just has an amazing youthy feel to it, i cant belive it wasnt on an album

  • @ranmore30 It was on 2 albums man, granted one was a soundtrack, but nevertheless...damn youtubers& 7 thumbs up tsk..tsk...tsk... people are gettin awful retarded, but no for real I felt that way-in 1994

  • @32Rainking I thought that people would just know that i meant a proper studio album instead of a greatest hits collection or a movie soundtrack, i guess not...

  • @ranmore30 I knew you weren't counting soundtracks, but from what I understand it was written for the movie, and that soundtrack is very different than most, but still they had the insight to include it on a greatest hits album b/c it was such a great song. It came out for the Singles soundtrack, if they put it on a subsequent album it'd be like recycled music, gets it's just my opinion.

  • I'd rather that digital audio never came along and we would not have half of the shit music we have today... Play music and record it to tape, period. If you suck you suck, the tape doesn't lie. Bits and bytes do

  • well said, shit all this new crap they play just fake over rated turd,

  • @clariscools - As a recording musician, tape is a fucking, motherfucking, shithead, evil, demonic bitch to work with. Changing those spools, escpecially for a 24-track recorder, was instituted evil. Digital recording = Good. Digital Distribution= Bad

  • @clariscools

Thats fucking true! I cant actually believe that people listen to music where the autotuning is so fucking obvious it cant be ignored (kesha and much others)...

Meh I think music changed to something with status and money instead of emotion, expression and pure talent :(.

  • @articachicken To sell out or not to sell out. People want to live and have those nice houses. They want to look after friends and family and buy that car they once dreamt about.

Vedder and the Jam held out and still do but I would still understand and back them if they were to sell out.

  • @Ryzler13

I would also totally understand, But if pearl jam would sell out would though be different then if a crap artist would sell out.. I dont know exactly why. But what I admire in pearl jam also, is that they put the tickets under the price of 20$ against the will of Ticketmaster, because they want teenagers to be able to go to concerts to. While they could get a lot of money with higher prices

I really wouldn't know what I would do man. But Im atleast glad there's talented music around

  • @articachicken Maybe in the past, but i've never seen a PJ ticket for under £50 here. Infact the first time i saw them i had to pay over £100 on ebay since they sold out so quick. Worth it though

  • @AdamskiFTW

From ticketmaster? :P Hmm I wouldn't know. But on ebay is not pearl jam their price right?

  • @articachicken Yeah direct from ticketmaster. They boycotted them forever in the 90s, but not anymore

  • @AdamskiFTW

Ohhh... I see. Well I want to see them anyway :P

  • 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10

    e´ 10 !!!

  • Great music in a time when everything seemed much more simple. Curse you Al Gore and your damned internet.

  • Did you know that as well as creating the internet, Al Gore also created global warming.

  • 100%grunge! mabuhay

  • great song...greetings from brazil

  • dont make fun of Florida its awsome

  • Florida = Disneyland, fat people and swamps... not my idea of awesome

  • are you fucking stupid? You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

I live in Miami,Florida, and all i see is beautiful beaches, women, houses, cars, amazing culture, and a vivid nightlife.

  • Agree

  • @TheGargantuanSock exactly my thoughts!

  • @TheGargantuanSock I live in florida and you pretty much just described it in a nutshell. I hate it here. The beach is the only thing that keeps me sane

  • @TheGargantuanSock

actually smart one, it's Disneyworld, and don't put down any state you don't know alot about. do something useful and make me dinner.

  • @allinized

To be frank, I couldn't care less what that plastic hell hole is called... music is my passion, not theme parks.

If the fact that I uploaded this video isn't useful to you:

    1. Why are you here?

    2. What would you like for dinner?

  • @TheGargantuanSock hahaha gd comeback - love number two xD

  • @TheGargantuanSock Can i get dinner too? I've been eating spaguetti for the last 3 months...

That cheap motherfucker with tomato sauce. a 1 dollar Breakfast and dinner. xD

  • @TheGargantuanSock Death, Obituary, Morbid Angel, and Deicide.

4 incredibly influential and heavy Death Metal bands all from Florida.

apparently music was their passion, too. not just theme parks.

  • @Badfish228

That's nice... but what exactly does it have to do with anything I've said?

  • @TheGargantuanSock i dunno.. got the impression that you thought nothing good musically has come out of florida.

  • @Badfish228

Ah I see... sorry if I gave that impression - but now you mention it, I think it's fair to say Florida isn't exactly a hotbed of musical talent... at least not when compared to California or New York for example.

  • @TheGargantuanSock: well, you say that; but Florida has produced NSync and the BackStreet boys.

Sure, some people would say that's not as prestigious as Seattle...

  • @TheGargantuanSock Uh...Lynard Skynard, Tom Petty? I know there are others, but that's who comes to mind off the top of my head.

  • @Jeannified

tbh I thought Skynyrd were from Mississippi, pardon my ignorance. But still, although I'm a fan of both LS and Tom Petty I don't think they match the quality, importance or sheer volume of artists that emerged from the likes of Cali and NY.

  • @TheGargantuanSock Only if you're talking about rap, which isn't music.

  • @CryptoDriver There are a few decent rap tunes but for the most part it is indeed crap!

  • @TheGargantuanSock Tom Petty is from Florida.

    Its whatever though.

  • @Shepherd492 oh and Mike Mccready

  • @TheGargantuanSock

i'm here to listen to the music, and so you are wrong because i didn't say the video was not useful to me, because it is. looked down at the comments and decided to stand up for my own state.

you're late, i had chicken parm already.

  • @allinized

In that case I have done something useful for you... if I just so happened to insult your state in the process then I'm still more than happy to make dessert... Tiramisu anyone?

  • @TheGargantuanSock That HAS to be the best statement about video comments ever...

"2. What would you like for dinner?"

  • @lyathin dude i dont know if you got the memo or not but florida is a shit hole.Seattle is way better

  • great song, amazing band...what more can you ask for?!??!! lots of love pearl jam, from canada!

  • makes you wanna create your own radio station, play nothing but good shit, no linkin park!

  • man like a collection of the best shit out there! we need to make the radio good again, its a failing media format in my opinion!

  • loved this song when I heard it in 92

  • tamper if you like between the doors; can't expect to go out to go out with anything more.

  • song of singles, bad film, great theme

  • BAD FILM ?? , BAD FILM ??

You must not have been anywhere near you 20's when it came out.. .. Maybe your from Sunny Florida.

  • Yes, terrible movie. Awesome soundtrack.

  • I really love Pearl Jam. The best band in the world.

    From SPAIN, we love you....

  • THE best bands Pearl Jam is one of THE best

  • breath and a scream on ten legacy edition is even better

  • Goo? If this is the Goo I think it is, STFU.

  • I like it better too. It's more raw, this version is tighter.

  • Comment removed

  • it's great!

  • Great song!!

    Qué temazo por dios

  • great song! is it just me, but music wise its could also be a pumpkins song?

  • yeah the music reminds me a bit of Gish era Pumpkins. But Billy would have had a totally different vocal melody!
