Amazing that that item can shoot such brillliant video. I think it's a shame about the music, though, maybe there's a time and place for that Brahms movement, and anyway, it's not here. (I don't actually agree that there's a time or place for that awful Brahms movement.)

Thanks for the film, though. Few cameras under 2000 dollars could do much better with a similar still panorama in 720p.

@13bmickey Try and uninstall all of your Flash players and then go to Adobe and reinstall the newest latest version, same thing happened with my friends computer and I did that and it worked fine, interesting 1GB of ram in a 3.06? I would definitely upgrade the Ram to 2GB minimum

Hi. To put the arguement to rest: I shot this with a Flip Mino HD. I used a candle as a tripod...shot through a not so clean glass window. No color correction.

This is the problem with so much technology, everything is "processed." I took pictures of Grand Canyon with my Canon G10 and once I got home found that most pictures you see of the Grand Canyon are processed in some way. And to compete with other images of the Grand Canyon I too saved the finals with a bit of processing. Our entire modern world is victimized by artificial processing. Most of what we see and hear is processed by "artists" jacked up on the latest caffeine "energy" drink.

@torchidman there is no way u can put it into movie maker. uless you convert the video to a format that the movie maker accepts try downloading the avs video editor. its a great editor it lets you save your files in 1080p at 30 frames per sec...

Judging any footage on Youtube is a waste of time as it has been re-encoded twice. What you need is for someone to offer a download of raw footage from the camera to view...and then make your mind up. Anyway..as a filmmaker the old maxim applies to any camera..shite in...shite out.

the chopper is a little jumpy, the flip films at 30 fps? i see the kodak hd flip films at 60 fps, i wonder how much better it is. flip seems great but kodak has zoom, still pictures and you can choose the quality, hd 60fps, 30fps, or regular vga

All the sites gave the Flip MinoHD a slightly better score than the Kodak zi6 HD.

They say the video is a little bit crisper on the Mino and also it has a rechargeable ion lithium battery, unlike the zi6.

This is a video, not a JPG with animated choppers and boats. If you look across the bay there are cars going past. It would be too hard to put all of those into this shot to make it worth anyone's time to fake it. I own the Flip mino HD and it really does take video quality this good.
