@chemao1978 because you cant just think of the horsepower... there are a lot more things that go into play when racing... stock skyline rb20det vs stock 350z the skyline wins... you have to remember about powerbands, rpm, rb gets good turbo torque and this car does not even sound like it has a turbo... 240sx is also 200lb lighter then the skyline... the 350z weighs in at 3,100lb all the way up to 3,600lb while the 240sx weighs only 2,700lb... its a 400lb-900lb difference in weight.....

(Assuming sivertop -- red top RB makes even less) You're right about the difference in weight, which is why the race was so close. Its got a build on the internals (only thing done to the heads was 272 cams and 3 angle valve job) and a gt2876rs. He runs low 12's. Thats the reason why the 240 is such a good drift car because its so damn light. like 2500lbs with a stripped interior and a couple weight saving mods (lightened rims, cf hood, lighter exhaust)
