yes, there ARE tiny brushless tail-motors, but i`m not in this piccolo business anymore. i just mess around with my t-rex which has a main-motor-driven tail-rotor. join a good rc-helicopter-forum for the answers you`re looking for. best wishes to the netherlands!
ah, one more good advice i can give you: i attached some blades of the kyosho caliber m24 (see my other videos for a video of the m24). the kyosho blades made the piccolo MUCH more stable.
Good to know that there are brushless tail motors, i will look for it. Now i saw youre other vid you have the piccolo pro and i have the upgraded fun so the blades will not work or i have to convert the pitch. But im looking now for a protech Zoom 450 heli . schould be almost the same thing as the trex450 only a little bit bigger (a few inches :)
no, i just own a piccolo fun, which you see in THIS video. it`s not a pro. the kyosho blades will work very well, the blades "angle of attack" (pitch) is lower and that`s why you`ll have higher rotor-speeds, which makes the piccolo more stable. a zoom 450 is a good choice once you are able to hover the piccolo.
true! it`s pretty fast! the only thing i would change immediately is the tail-motor. it should have a brushless tail-motor, as the brushed one failed way too often.
it`s pretty powerful with kyosho m24 blades attached, as you see....takes off at around 70% throttle. you can get it prebuilt as a trainer-version. it is not difficult to build though. thanks for stopping by, major.
superflunker, add another 100 bucks, and get yourself a t-rex. much more reliable. also, go and join some rc-heli-forums, there are lots of, just google. thanx for stopping by... cheers.
Lol i didn't read it all, my bad i onley saw by country: united state's well that make us neighbours..
couldn't see the main blades that good and youre m24 movie looked like a extra suport tube to the tail and i only saw that with the pro version.
I have no problems flying with my heli right now. no problems with stabiletie either. i only dont dare to fly fast and 3D jet
Vielen Dank für alle Kommentare! Viele wünschen sichere Flüge. Grüße aus Holland :)

is a powerful heli? does it take off easily without much throttle? is it pre-built?-if not then how difficult is it to build?

The only Kyosho EP helicopter that can do stunts is the Caliber 400. For EP M24, the Hirobo Lama XRB is much more better.

It certainly looks more flying speed than the Caliber M24.

i never managed to fly the kyosho outsides. the piccolo is much more manoeverable, and flies very well outdoor.
