Man don't let all these negative comments bring you down. You did a great job, and I enjoyed watching this video. Just watch the timing on some parts but other than that you did awesome man.
@BolsaDePiojo Never broken a cymbal. I never have my cymbals that tight. I only did because the wingnuts kept unscrewing while I played and would fly off.
I put Vater QR Cymbal Toppers on them a few days after uploading this. I keep having to tell people that despite the numerous comments on here about it, but oh well.
@irondrummer52 You obviously didn't read the description either. Otherwise you'd have known that was my first time playing in over 5 months after having shoulder surgery. So, 1: it's a good cover regardless of my surgery and lack of playing. 2: it's a DAMN good cover coming off of surgery and 5+ months of no drumming.
Dude, don't listen to that fag irondrummer52. If he knew shit about drumming and every this song, he would know that this is the best cover of this song on youtube.
@nightfoxteam isolation is great. Just the right amount of bleed to 'em, so you can still hear what you're playing. As for durability, I take really good care of them, so they still look and sound brand new.
Friends of mine who use them on the road still have no issues with them, even when they get tossed around or dropped.
Definitely the best monitors I've ever used, and the only ones I will use.
Thanks. I had them relatively loose, but the wingnuts kept unscrewing and flying off. Plus DW felts are super-solid, so they hold my cymbals pretty damn tight.
Probably going to swap the felts out with Aquarian Cymbal Springs in the near future.
Yeah i know what ya mean. I picked up some Vater Slick Nut Quick-Release Cymbal Fastener's from Guitar Center and i haven't had that problem since. They are a little pricey but they definately get the job done...check them out! Keep the awsome videos comeing! Later!
@FilthySICness13 I agree with jjbb20; go ahead with playing bro, it takes courage to continue with playing after a surgery.
Also, same comment about crashes: you gotta loosen 'em up, because they're gonna crack for sure this way. You'd be better off without wingnuts and felts (only on sleeves) altogether, than tightening them like this.
@salemesserschmitt Thanks, man! I totally agree with the cymbal tightness too. I was going to leave the wingnuts off, but it's like a sense of security for me. I now have Vater QR toppers on them and they work great. I love letting my cymbals move freely.
I'm going to need another surgery too, and might never play drums again... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything will go smoothly.
nice cover man :) u rock keep it up :)

Holy Christ loosen your poor cymbals. Having 'em bolted down that tight is not good.

@irondrummer52 hahahahah yeah, the cover is bad. I love when people have absolutely NO idea what they're talking about and choose to rag on a video.

Loosen up your cymbals a little bit or they are likely to crack. Very nice cover!
