@ScottPottorff92 i dont think that they are crap. i had a 1991 nissan pickup. 4 cylinder that had well over the 500k mark only major thing i had to replace was the clutch and that was just before i hit the 500k mark.

They might be on to something. It's a good truck. Why buy it over the Nissan? Because the warranty is way better! If you're a fan of the Suzuki company why not support them by buying this rather than buying a Frontier? Will they make a ton of money? Most likely not but they may gain some trust that would help if they ever produced their own design. I'd like to see them turn this into a pre-runner and compete head on with Fords Raptor. I don't see them taking that big of a risk though.

Nice truck indeed. I like the better or longer warranty offered by Suzuki along with the roadside assistance and car loan program with a new purchase. The only down side I see for me is that the truck doesn't come with a stability control(VDC) as standard like the Toyota Tacomas. Its optional only for the RMZ4 trim and the RMZ4 only comes in the short bed. So, no stability control with a long bed as an option.

The nice thing about the Equator is that it's going to have a better warranty than the Frontier. Is it just me, or does this truck look like a Tacoma at first glance? I've also heard that Fiat builds the SX4 for Suzuki. Does anybody know if that's true?

Fiat sedici and the sx4 are the same car...who builds it I am not sure...but I love my sx4 and am dying to get an equator...cause here in canada...we get the 6 speed...

@divooriginale Actually it's just the opposite. Suzuki builds the Sedici (Fiat branded SX4) for Fiat. All Fiat Sedici's are built at the Suzuki plant in Engztrom Hungary, by Suzuki workers. The only involvement Fiat had with SX4 was fitting the Fiat diesel engine that is an option in the Sedici version. SX4 was all Suzuki engineered, and the exterior styingling was done by ItalDesign.

The wording about selling Daewoos should be different. People might think that suzuki is selling mostly rebadged Daewoo's. Only the Forenza and Reno are the Daewoos. All other models are 100% Japanese Suzuki's and the new Nissan/Suzuki Frontier/Equator.
