I personally Like Blazblue better because of all the radically different mechanics for every single character, GG just came first, there's not much about it to make it some kind of holy relic of the fighting game genre, I will say GG has the best music though.

@Draconilian LOOOL every character in guilty gear has about 20 approaches and require high level execution. you most likely were never good at guilty gear to even base such an opinion. this is coming from someone who plays both at a tournament level.

you had better know your frame data in gg as opposed to bb. blazblue is an easier guilty gear, daisuke ishiwatari said so himself. he discontinued gg because it was to hard for the casual scene. thus we're left with this blazblue shit. get over it.

Its looks like u never played a Guilty Gear game in depth.....in guilty gear every char was unique and had different fighting mechanics, i mean, u had the friendly user char Ky kiske and then, some bizarre guys with weird and twisted fighting mechanics like Zappa, Venom, Eddie, I-No or Testament.

You've obviously never played BB; and probably not GG in any real degree (Yeah, I just said you suck. Deal w/ it).

Both games are entirely seperate entities and are awesome in their own ways, but BB is an obvious improvement over GG in mechanics and match systems, as well as possibilities of strategic reversal of combos, positioning and pressure

Supposedly Arc reclaimed the rights to GG this month. Not sure if it's true but supposedly another game is now in the mix to be made.
