  • evelyn glennie is so fascinating...this instrument...question: what is the temp and force of the water? i would imagine hands could become cold, saturated...hmmm...curious. lovely sound!

  • The hydraulophone is similar to a woodwind instrument, but it runs on incompressible (or less compressible) fluid rather than a compressible gas like air. In this context hydraulophones are sometimes called "woodwater" instruments regardless of whether or not they are made of wood (as woodwind instruments are also often not made of wood).

All you need to set yourself free is imagination.

  • wow

  • only 4700 views on this video?? IT SHOULD BE MORE, by the way its a very interesting and nice invention

  • Wow you could really spritz the front row pretty good with that contraption. Also, I guess you could tell a virtuoso by their spongy dish-pan-hands.

  • Must take ages to clean up after that! Thats gotta be some fun!
