@SuperDENIST I think you misunderstand. There is no tutorial for text rotating around a globe over at Video Copilot. I used the "Blue Planet" tutorial as a base because I needed to make the above quickly as a demonstration for a member of the Video Copilot forums. You can use the Blue Planet tutorial files to achieve the same effect, or at least see how its done... its "simply" a text/image layer(s) with CC Sphere applied to it.
@sidneywatts42 I've only just noticed your comment so this may be a bit late and you've already found out but, just in case... It done using CC Sphere, the same as the globe itself. As a sphere texture use text in a comp thats simply animated right to left.

@DJShadesUK i know the blue planet, but i thought you said that on VideoCopilot there's a tutorial for the rotating text, too....
