Non seulement oui, la mégane a un meilleur chassis, donc c'est toi qui n'a jamais dû conduire de MRS.

De plus sur cette vidéo la megane doit être chaussée en 19" voir 20", avec autant de poids en plus sur les masses non suspendues, c'est tout à fait normal que la CTR finisse par passer devant... Mais vous avez raison les rosbeefs, continuez de faire ceux qui s'y connaissent, j'me marre bien ;-)

@polipopix Well, the lancer evo and the impreza are not what they used to be, and the civic type r, sorry to say it, is not as good on the track as the Megane RS. The Nissan GTR is a sports monster, I've got to say, but there are plenty of great french cars. Oh, and french engineering is kind of ok i reckon: polytechnique, centrale, mines, those are kind of good engineer schools =) I dunno what u study, but i study mechanics in an engineer school in lyon, so before u talk, get some heads up ;)

Jap cars are known for their reliability... french arent. Japs have plenty of cars that have won races/competitions.

You are not honestly comparing an r8, alpine a110 and a bugatti with a nsx and R7? Look at the price difference, they are in completly different leagues.

Renault has only recently had great success again after FIA changed rules. The R26R is not the only hatch that can outperform a boxter S... Type R M20... do you research, puts the R26R to shame. Hell even the Focus RS is faster around a track.

@Speedyw00t hey, please don't bullshit me on your friend's clio RS (first it does'nt have have a turbo), I do drive the clio 3rs, and it's just brilliant (read any article on the car, u'll understand, Top gear recently elected it hot hatch of the year), and i've got all equipements i could ever wish in a 24k€ hot hatch^^ I'm not saying that the civic tr is not a good hot hatch (and it's even a shame it won't be sold anymore) but spitting on other cars because you own it is kinda pointless.

The M200 is Mostly cosmetic whereas the M20 has a fully rebuild K20 engine producing 240BHP which IS faster around the track! The standard FN2 is less than 1 second behind the R26.R with no LSD and 201bhp. The M20 has better brakes, better suspension, LSD and more power. You honestly telling me those things cant make up 1second? I believe you are misinformed.

Fastest 1/4 fwd car in europe (possibly the world) is a Type R... its the older EP3... none the less still a Type R. Dont believe me? When Peugeot went in WRC there was Mitsubishi, and Subaru. Peugeot left WRC since 5 or 6 years already. In Group B Peugeot dominated with 205T16, and Japanese were far behind.

When they won Le Mans with the 905, there was Toyota and Nissan. When they won Paris Dakar, there was Mitsubishi. Citroen only participated to Rallye Raid first in the 90's and won against Mitsubishi too. They arrived late in WRC, and had a try in Group B with BX TC but all PSA credit went for the 205T16.

I`m just referring to numerous tests done in the famous Sport Auto magazine from Germany. The FN2 Type R was consistently slower on the Hockenheim Ring than Clio RS and Megane RS. The new Megane RS is a full 5 seconds faster on that track! New Clio RS is over 2 secs faster!
