Sadie, I absolutely love this sequence. I'm new to yoga, but I recently got diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and I'm trying to stay moving since I'm not allowed to dance anymore. Do you have any suggestions of which of your sequences would provide the most pain relief? Keep it up, I love what you do!!!
Temple is just like horse stance in kung fu (sumo stance in karate), same principles too. I see more similarities between kung fu and yoga all the time (I practice both). I guess it adds weight to the idea that kung fu has it's roots in yoga - according to the Bodhidharma story anyways!
Hey I love your yoga videos but i was wondering if you could do like a sort of everyday yoga routine for not too skilled yoga people (like me :S) that kind of covers everything, just as a way of keeping in shape? You may already have one that i've missed i just really have no idea where to start or how to create my own and would really like an everyday routine that i can use to keep everything toned.
A variation of your temple position i think you called it the position with the wide open knees position is move onto your toes by pushing your heels outwards.
I did this for the first time and I could definately feel the burn, especially when u pick the heels. I would like to know if you have published any books or dvd's? By the way, Im gonna do this regularly two times a day. :) Thankyou!
I was searching for tips on teaching asanas and vinyasas to one student in my beginner yoga class who needs a chair. After watching some of your videos, I feel more confident that almost everything that the others in class are doing, my chair student can also do. By standing in front of or straddling the chair (in pyramid for example), the student can sit whenever they need to without worrying about losing balance.
used to do ballet a while back and was looking for an individual way to get back into strength, flexibility and self-discipline. this set is awesome! i can also feel my posture getting better and my shoulders going back where they used to (and should) be!
This was an awesome set. You can really feel it and staying on your toes keeps you.... well, on your toes.lol I was laughing through it trying to stay up. lol Very fun and great vid.
You have given me a new meaning to yoga. I've always been flexible but something about the normal yoga made me not want to practise it to perfection (perhaps a little bit boring?) Core strength is amazing! Somehow I manage to follow the sequence and day by day I can see an imrpovement in my strength and I feel so much more energized! You're gifted and deciplined, and I appreciate you sharing with us on how to utilise our body in ways we never thought of doing before! Thank you and keep it up!
WOW! That was hard. But I like it. Your videos really help me so much. Every morning I do one of the videos. I can really feel the difference in my body. Thank you so much. I'm so grateful to have been guided to you. God Bless You.
Thank you so much, and I honor you for doing something so challenging for yourself. It makes you stronger and more able to center through all the challenges you face. I'm happy you're here! Let me know anything else I can do...I'm pleased to offer.
