I like Archie Bell & The Drells version better too. The song actually starts out, "Hi everybody, I'm Archie Bell & The Drells, FROM HOUSTON, TEXAS, and we're here to Tighten Up.........."

Archie Bell & The Drells did record a song, in 1968, titled "Tighten Up." You'll know it right away because it starts right off with "Hi everybody, I'm Archie Bell & The Drells and we're here to Tighten Up............."
