I must be gettin old. Kids are complaing about shows I never knew existed, nor want to. I wasn't even watching CN when Tom left with Toonami. Good thing too, because I saw what they made Tom look like in his final version, yuck. That Destroy Build Destroy thing reminds me of this British show called Brainiac: Science Abuse. The only major difference, Brainiac is actually educational. -__-;;
Destroy Build Destroy is just awful. The host is loud and annoying. The groups are always between eductational kids and athletic kids (the athletes always winning). The kids clearly aren't the ones destroying their creation when they press the button or something at the end. I haven't heard of Brainiac, but anything educational has to be better than this raped version of Junkyard Wars.

All Cartoonetwork had to do was do like nick does and span off like 20 different channels. Make a sort of channel dedicated only to this 'REAL' stuff or so they say. Well, CN Real is a mistake. Bobee Says is history, (thank god) but for me, its Chowder, Flapjack, Adventure Time With Finn and Jake, and Adult Swim because that is what seperates the babies from the Teens.
As of now, Othersiders, Survive This, and Brain Rush have all been canceled, but Destroy Build Destroy, and now a new reality show, "Dude what would happen?" (which is basically a teen Mythbusters) are still running. They also don't call the block "CN Real" anymore, but I wish they'd stop putting live action on CARTOON Network. :_(

Destroy Build Destroy is just awful. The host is loud and annoying. The groups are always between eductational kids and athletic kids (the athletes always winning). The kids clearly aren't the ones destroying their creation when they press the button or something at the end. I haven't heard of Brainiac, but anything educational has to be better than this raped version of Junkyard Wars.

All Cartoonetwork had to do was do like nick does and span off like 20 different channels. Make a sort of channel dedicated only to this 'REAL' stuff or so they say. Like Boomerang's home to the classic cartoons, and they're definately classic for a good reason. Anyway if they did that maybe their rep wouldn't be as bad, instead of Fail Cartoons and Fail Reality Shows they'd just have Fail shows.

As of now, Othersiders, Survive This, and Brain Rush have all been canceled, but Destroy Build Destroy, and now a new reality show, "Dude what would happen?" (which is basically a teen Mythbusters) are still running. They also don't call the block "CN Real" anymore, but I wish they'd stop putting live action on CARTOON Network. :_(

This is one of the best rants I've seen. But it's not just live action, Chowder, Flapjack etc. are ruining Cartoon Network too. I predict that they will get canceled in 2011 or 2012 if they continue with live action. And for anyone who says kids these days like this more, a kid isn't going to like Chowder because of Global Warming or Recession, my point being that a kid born 50 years in the future won't think much differently than one born now. Plus networks don't need to change to be continued
