Google 'slingplayer acer aspire one' to find a howto that I did for an Ubuntu based distro - the steps are exactly the same.

The basics are well documented on the web - two complications are that no version of Wine seems to play well with Slingplayer 2.0 due to its HTML component and also I could not get Slingplayer 1.5 to behave with any version of Wine after 1.1.
