It seems that 70's babies have an unbreakable love and respect for hip hop that we don't disrepet our legends. When we were playing in the playgrounds it was mandatory that someone had a radio full blast. Ya'll 80's babies will ride with wherever the wind blows which is cool, but if you don't know where you came from, most likely you don't know where ya going... I got respect for people like Big Daddy Kane, KRS, Public Enemy, Rakim, Slick Rick, Ice Cube but I didn't grow up then so I can't help it if I favor Wu-Tang, Nas, Az, Cormega, Papoose, Boot Camp Clik, Def Squad, music 4rm "my era." wherever the wind blows, I beg to differ.... I guess u would have respect for Kurtis Blow, Cold Crush, etc. and that era but prefer later music, rite?? When it comes to today's music the only folks who cud rock 2 that is the "lost" generation lol

nah you got it wrong... I show respet to ALL my hip hop artist, I don't care what era they from. "Wherever the wind blows"~ you an differ all you want... but many 80's kids are easily swayed... they will follow their favorite artist, and If that artist says dis some other artist, that they was feeling before, they will do it... Yeahh LL COOL J put carreers to end but if those artists woulda came back strong, they would've got the love. You need to admit it 70's kids keeps it realer... LOL

guess we'll have to agree to disagree... I like any battles. Some old heads are stuck in their [past]ways andstill claim LL is the GOAT when his time[prime] is clearly over. Some dont give the new generation a chance when they have something meaningful to add on, and build as well... I think it was during the 90s when artists overcame the battle thing [Jay afterEther-stix-out], they still get love. U got tru heads in every generation as-well-as-passive listeners ... peace
