That was heart taking
For it is the saddest moments that we live through that make us stronger. We learn to be strong not only from ourselves but friends and family as well. To have one of the worst things in the end turn out wonderful its the greatest feeling in the world. And not many can show their true feelings like you just did here. Your sister is lucky to have a brother like you.

My younger sister suffered from heart disease as well when I was 7. After several surgeries, the night came when she went to sleep and never woke up. That was nearly a decade ago. Its hard to let things like that go. I feel you bro.

The truth of your emotions that you let everyone see is amazing. Definitely tugged on the ol' heartstrings. You and your family are very lucky...and you most definitely make your parents proud! Siblings are spoiled having a big brother like you!

You are a wonderful brother and remind me of my own! Just remember that she is probably glad it's her that deals with it instead of you. Just like you wish it were you instead of her. I think that's great and shows how much you really do care for her.
