  • Build him up a bit, lower his voice tone, put some hair on his chest, bum and back and presto you have an instant sean connery and you will sell loads of tickets, use this as a theme song.

  • he does vaguely pull off a sean connery look.

  • Nice! : )

  • hahaha its been ages since ive heard this!

  • One of the best songs ever made..

  • I used to hate this song and my friend played it over and over just to piss me off and i eventually started to like it lol

  • HES A MASSIVE CUNT BUT THIS SONGS GOOD

  • only like this song because of the you only live twice riff

  • XD im 12 again!

  • He has a derp singing face :3

  • 0:39 wtf?

  • Woooooooooooooooooow I Miss This Song So Very Much I Hear That Song Since My Grade School Days............

  • Still love this song!!

  • Has anyone noticed that the riff for this song is from "You only live twice" The James Bond film? Good song either way.

  • @Serantir Yeah he copied the Nancy Sinatra background and used the same background here.

  • @Serantir He's also wearing a james bond suit and driving a james bond car

  • @jonathan55751

listen to more of his songs, including this one

there: he just did something good.

  • can this guy do anything good?

  • Robbie williams is a reptillian

  • music by a reptilian, made for reptilians, even so, I have to accept it, it IS a good tune

  • CHEVERE ESA CANCION, LO MAXIMO ROBBIE WILLIAMS.

  • It is very strange that this song was a hit in the UK and other countries, but not in Australia!!

  • i originally hated this song and my buddy would play it just to bug me, and i eventually started liking it

  • Hey , we've done a cover of this song, check it out on our channel!

  • We have starts directing our fate...because LUCK. IS EVERYTHING! Not someting...not 50%...LUCk is EVERYTHING BABY.

  • Yes, acting like a douchebag was very cool in the late '90s... oh the good ole days.

Man, this was a great song in the summer '99... road trips and girls... brings back some memories!

  • Was acting like a douchebag in the late 90's cool or something? lol

  • So nostaligic.. I dont even remember what part of my life was taking place when this song came out.

  • maldito ingles, esta cancion es irresistible...

  • always nice

  • This Song is just brilliant and has been one of my favourites since the Late 90s

  • I Dont know why this video remindsme of James Bond.. Maybe all the girls and his suitcase.jejeje

  • It's probably his suit, the women, the suitcase and especially the car, which is the Aston Martin DB5, the 'Bond car', it's supposed to resemble James Bond.

  • @roseola its probably because this song was sampled from the Bond movie; You only live twice

  • I heart this song so much!

  • gosh this brings me back such happy memories being a child :)

  • i literally havent heard this song since 98, completely forgot about it but it makes it that much better :)

  • Same here! :)

  • Ahh, i remember listening to this as a kid in primary school, just before the fireworks over the millenium dome. The world was going to end, David Beckham still was in his public fall de grace, and phones where only for calls...

  • ten years, hard years.

  • STILL the best song I've ever heard even after a decade.

  • Damn, can't believe this was 10 years ago. Hey, MUCH music, eh? That's all we got back in Canada back then unless you were one of the dozen people with sattelite dishes in their back yards.

  • @mooghammondb3

12 Years, this was released in 1998.

  • Best part of this song is the use of the background melody from You Only Live Twice. It's done quite well.

  • ...

Is it the year 2000 yet?

    >_>

  • lol I remember blaring this back in 99!!!!

  • yay

  • holy crap i remember MUCH! lol. this was some good stuff.

  • Great song, but this guy couldnt do a thing right in music now, feel free to thumbs down my comment (record company - that is paid to monitor youtube on his pathetic comeback starting with an amazing comeback on x-factor in 3 weeks). Listen to his awful single thats around now, he couldnt do a thing right at the moment, but was awesome in his prime.

  • I don't feel Bodies the way I should! I don't like it very much

  • Good to hear that, you can be arrested for walking around feeling bodies.

I agree with your comment, its just too abstract style of music, and hes back working with Guy Chambers - I was expecting a great first single at least.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA XD

I agree 100% about his work with Guy... Let's see how the rest of the album goes...

  • Feel free to check my channel - I do coldplay covers.

  • I desagree with you two. At first I didn't quite liked it, but after the third time I heard I was hooked, and think he is back at what he does best. You don't just "loose" your talent. Still I think the video could be better.

  • I dissagree with you too, many famous people have lost their talent - had it all and years later flopped.

Times change and music does too, its hard for people to move with it, bands like Oasis dont need to because of their greatness (split now though lol), but Robbie was like many, propelled to the top of the tree (slated take that off to the nines), and he has met them many times on his way down recently Take that passed him on their way to the top.

Not knocking how great he was though.

  • Ok, I respect that you think that his talent is on decline. But I desagree that TT passed him on the way to the top.I'm not trying to trash TT here. I'm saying that although they're doing pretty well and I'm happy for them. They're not at the "top", not like Robbie was and they're not like to get that high cause they're almost 40 now. Robbie got bigger as an artist than TT, I'm southamerican and Robbie is loved here and there's people here that don't even know that TT is back together.

  • I respect your thoughts too, but we disagree again.

Too much time is spent on mass hysteria if a band makes it in America, I believe it stems back to the Beatles being so big there, and making the obvious conclusion that if a band makes it in America then they must be amazing. This just isnt true, many a band are liked by America but considered poor in UK, also a band can make Millions just being big in Europe, I know TT are massive in Europe unlike RW. RW is on the slope down.

  • Well,I can give you the perspective from an outsider. From where I stand, looking in the european scene,I see and hear a lot more about RW than TT and I'm talking Europe wise. RW is 3 years without a record and he still more googled than TT.I understand that being big in Europe is great and I'm sure they are.But that's just the point, RW is more than that, he got big in almost everywhere but America.

  • As a lot of artists, RW needed a time out, this is actually common and understandeble. TT did it themselves and now are back. From an outsider perspective RW is the bigest solo superstar Europe has.I,Myself, am a prove,if you ask me about other male european solo artists, I have no freaking clue. But I know RW and am a big admirer of his work.

  • Oh well good for you. Unfortunately here in Britain the general thought on him is 'he is a has-been', on the radio he is on alot at work (busy place), and all you can hear is groaning when he comes on - like I say it was Life thru a lens that was his greatest album, anyone who can think by means of PR stunts like X-factor boosting an ailing comeback will sustain his latest musical career would be wrong. First single is usually the strongest, and great dissapointment is felt in the UK by most.

  • Well,I'm not intending any harm. The thing is, I've being reading a lot stuff about it,critics, youtube, blogs, news ands stuff and that's not the impression I get at all. He is even already nominated for a mtv award. Then again, only time will tell.About X-factor,TT did that show themselves, it's on youtube. The fact is no matter what happens from here on,if you ask the rest of the world about Uk pop, the first name that comes to mind is RW.But I do think you have a lot of good music over there.

  • I don't know why youtube cut my comment in half ¬¬

As I was saying Coldplay is my favorite ever.Your country has a brilliant music history.

  • What's TT?

  • Oh, it means Take That, a group of five (now four) english lads.

  • It was the group he was in before he went solo in 95. It was called Take That.

  • @jimbob150555 do you look back on this comment and cringe lol

  • oh...my i was in high school then as i heard this

  • Actually the album was call "the ego has landed"

  • No, it was "I've Been Expecting You". "The Ego Has Landed" was the American title, and was released well after his first British album had come out.

  • This song was on the 1998 album 'I've been expecting you'.

  • this song was original going to be released on the january 1st 2000 , but didnt get released untill january 4th 2000 due to publishing issue's

  • You are entirely wrong. The song was first released in 1998 in Europe and spring 1999 in America.

  • what year this song come out

  • before the millenium, genius

  • lol

  • all these people saying they feel old your all fools this song came out in 2000 hence the name millennium I'm 19 I remember this yeah but i don't feel old going to to a rod stweart gig with my mum when i was a baby makes me feel old... Come on bring on the hateful comments

  • im 19 and i totally agree with you...except the part about Rod Stewart

  • he was doing a james bond thing.

  • omg,I also feel super old, lol. LOVED this song back in the day!

  • It was only 9 years ago man..

    I dunno..

    lol

I am bad at judging whether time is long or short.. One could say That happened 15 years ago! and I would think.. Not long ago..

But 5 years seems longer.. lol.. Every time I tell a chilhood story I seem to be 5 or 6, 7 or 8, 10, 11 or 12, in that way.

    I either say "I was 5 or 6" or "6 or 7"

Surely all my memories aren't from that time..

It seems as if from 14 up I remember nothing important, save meeting my fiance.. I'm 18 now. It was better then

  • Wrong Guy dude, This Robbie Williams is still alive. The Robbie Williams your talking about is 45, first Indigenous Australian Brisbane City councillor and s former ATSIC commissioner.

See Wikipedia- Robert Peter Williams (currently 34) (born 13 February 1974)(no death date) is a Grammy Award-nominated, 15-time BRIT Award-winning English singer. His career started as a member of the pop band Take That in 1990. He left Take That in 1995 to begin his solo career.

  • I do remember this being popular in the US for a bit. I got my first real job and left working at Chi Chi's right when this was popular...thought it was '99.

  • This dude is obsessed with James Bond.

  • The song's chorus uses a sample from a Bond song, thus the video has a Bond theme.

  • he is just so naughty i could eat him all up

  • 1998 - 2008

God the years have flown by, but the song remains top notch!
