So Calzaghe chose to fight a legend - Roy Jones Junior, in Maddison Square Gardens, rather than a fighter who had beaten nobody of note....fair play!
Froch has been pretty impressive since then, however there is no evidence what so ever that he would have beaten Calzaghe

technique is taught at an early age, all the boxers i know develop that fundemental guard, stance, punching system to suit there needs, i keep my chin as low into my left shoulder as possible and my right as high as my fitness allows. this is from getting hit to often with the guard i was taught i dont think that constitues bad technique??
Personally i think froch has good technique the only criticism id have of him is the low left hand he has doesnt suit him as a fighter because he doesnt have the speed to have a defense like that.Its a roy jones jnr stance but obviously jones was very quick which mean he could get away with that style.

I believe Froch would ko Calzaghe. He has a lot more power than Calzaghe. It wouldnt be an early ko, but maybe a late round stoppage. Joe had a good chin, but nobody is invulnerable to power like the one Froch possesses.
In 46 fights JC faced about four, maybe five, fighters with any real KO power, and at least three of them were past it. He should do the honorable thing, come out of retirement and fight Froc...for once in your fucking life give the public what they want JC!!! technique is taught at an early age, all the boxers i know develop that fundemental guard, stance, punching system to suit there needs, i keep my chin as low into my left shoulder as possible and my right as high as my fitness allows. this is from getting hit to often with the guard i was taught i dont think that constitues bad technique??

Personally i think froch has good technique the only criticism id have of him is the low left hand he has doesnt suit him as a fighter because he doesnt have the speed to have a defense like that.Its a roy jones jnr stance but obviously jones was very quick which mean he could get away with that style.

I believe Froch would ko Calzaghe. He has a lot more power than Calzaghe. It wouldnt be an early ko, but maybe a late round stoppage. Joe had a good chin, but nobody is invulnerable to power like the one Froch possesses.

In 46 fights JC faced about four, maybe five, fighters with any real KO power, and at least three of them were past it. He should do the honorable thing, come out of retirement and fight Froc...for once in your fucking life give the public what they want JC!!! It would be close fight, but I think Froch would win late on, and thats JC's fault, my prediction would have been different if they had fought a year ago.

I think Froch derserves an appology from all the peeps who said he has no skills & can't adapt. He's always had that stinging jab and skill (which won him a silver) but the success of the Pascal fight went to his head & he thought he could just bully fighters. Even tho I thought the Kess fight should of been a draw, it brought him down to earth. If he can stick to working behind that long, stinging jab of his then beware all other fighters as he has the long game as well as being able to scrap.
