Well I will say this. I would rather hear todays singers singing some songs with some meaning behind them. Of course its not Marvin and Tammi. That is plain to see (and hear). However it is a breath of fresh air to hear some of the old music being brought back even if it is for a couple of minutes. It was meant as a tribute and I take it as that. I don't think they went out there thinking they were better than the original. In my mind the original version wins but this was good to see.

Well I will say this. I would rather hear todays singers singing some songs with some meaning behind them. Of course its not Marvin and Tammi. That is plain to see (and hear). However it is a breath of fresh air to hear some of the old music being brought back even if it is for a couple of minutes. It was meant as a tribute and I take it as that. I don't think they went out there thinking they were better than the original. In my mind the original version wins but this was good to see.
