  • This song always seems to put a smile on my face!!!!!:):)

  • Jane Siberry is just great.

  • Great work doing this video!

  • If there is a more beautiful planet, we should go visit it at once !

  • I just love this song! And your beautiful photographs. It is one of the finest videos I have seen.

  • What a beautiful song and great job with the video

  • I love her so much.

I met her last night. We had a wonderful chat!

  • i first heard this gem when at college in the early '80s...and haven't been able to forget it since. it may be due in part to the fact i try to play it on a daily basis. if you like this one, wait till you hear Everything Reminds Me Of My Dog!! ( i think i got the title right)

  • Love it!!!!

  • Love this song. Your right, the video on yt wasn't the original. The original was more carefree and light. I remember telling my girlfriend how cool this song and video were. She loved it as well. and 22 years later my wife and I still love it.

  • It's back. Just type in 'Jane Siberry One' and it'll appear as the second video in the list.

  • Does anyone have the original video of this amazing song? It's a great video with her walking a cow down a path among other things.

  • That video, with a couple of old Jane videos (eg Mimi on the Beach)used to be here but disappeared a month or so ago. Don't know why and do miss them.

  • That vid is now back on YouTube, though the quality isn't great. BTW, technically, it's not the original video for the song. The cow vid was done for U.S. audiences to try and break Jane Siberry in that country. The song's first video only ever aired in Canada. Can't remember much about it. I do remember than when the line 'a basket of apples' is sung, a basket of green apples appeared onscreen. No cows and no humans, other than Jane, though.

  • I first heard this song in the '80's on Night Flight. I fell in love with Jane's voice and have been a fan ever since. Is the concert that the video for "Map of the World II" was taken from available? I first saw that performance on TBS's "Night Tracks" in the 80's and have wondered if there was anymore to it (I have a magazine from the mid-80's that the facing pages advertise 'The Speckless Sky' and Kate Bush's then-new 'Hounds of Love' Kate and Jane!!! What a musical fantasy!'

  • you're absolutley right. this first vid was of jane alone (mostly) standing on a turning circular pedestal with her singing to the sky -- the "blue" of the "one more colour." it was WAY better than the second US-centred vid. i so wish i could find a copy of the first one ...
