This isn't too bad, if people are saying that it sounds off, or that you were struggling with it, its because you mixed Chris Shifletts part with Dave Grohls... Dave plays the intro, but after that, all he plays is the chord progression: D-A-F#min-E, and sometimes the solo... Also, the solo will sound off no matter how you play it unless you use an octave pedal, which the Foo's are. Great job though.

Sorry but this just sounds like you're reading it. t sounds like struggling after the intro, you were probably just trying to get the timing. Also you didn't make the high pitched noise in the intro...which is what I was looking for, I'd love to know how to do it.

I'm not reading it. I made the tabs after I put this cover up because so many people requested them. And there some parts where I may make a few mistakes because I only played it twice before putting the cover up. Now I would play it differently.

The high pitched noise is a 'natural harmonic'. Search it on Youtube and you should find good lessons ; )

@ChocolateFlux I figured it was a harmonic, found it by playing a few, it's on A and D strings 7th fret. I didn't mean that you were reading it, I meant that it sounded like you were as in it kinda sounded staggered

@mbarrett12 Dude just Boost your amp really loud. Your pickups will begin to feedback and if you leave your hands like rested on the strings the'll basically do all that by it self. Its just really a volume/distortion overdrive level thing.

hey man on that first riff theres an artificial harmonic on the 9th fret on the D string right after the 4 strums on that A #5 chord (11th fret D string, 12th fret A string)... but great job on the tabs & the playing for sure!

The x parts are dead notes.

You just touch the string (don't press it, just slightly touch it).This creates the effect of the string not making a sound aside from the "click" noise of the string (dead note).

Great job. Have you tried it with a capo on the second fret? It makes the riff in the verse much easier and allows you to use open strings.
