  • DOC is short for Denominazione Di Origine Controllato, meaning the wine in the bottle must come from the particular area is claims to be from and be produced to a strict set of standards. For example a Colli Bolognesi DOC wine must have been produced in the Bologna hills area. Check Wikipedia for more details! Cin-cin!

  • Yes, real shame about the Barbera as I was particularly looking forward to it. However, just had a text message from the producer saying he liked the review, apologizing for the problem and promising to send another sample asap!

  • just paused the end of the first review while I popped out the kitchen for a Hoofing Commando by Cotleigh Brewery in Somerset, heard of them mate? oh dear what a shame with the second wine, iv still got three quarters of that beer I poured, right time to watch one of your previous videos, cheers Robin :-)

  • is DOC like Camra then Robin? nice glug on the first wine, I like the sound of the Honey finish to this great. Wow how technology is changing me and Mel are sitting here with our tv off and sitting with our tablet pc's watching videos on Youtube and emailing etc.
