While fear 3 in story line and "horror" factor are a complete disappointment...

But... It was fun to play.

I would have expected them to actually drop the entire Alma thing...

And show another part of the F.E.A.R itself, meaning showing Other things that go...Maybe even something to give a different point of view to the Alma-case.

But they kinda ruined it by stretching a single aspect WAY too far!

Nooooaaapp. The Point Man is the unnamed protagonist of the first and second game. Becket's only around in the second game - and it's quite clear that Day 1 hated FEAR 2 since Becket's the only character returning from that game and he dies pathetically. -_-

Both endings were shit along with a laughably weak story. The gunplay was nice and smooth, but seriously how hard is it when it's practically copied and pasted from the previous ones. I hope Day 1 absolutely tank like they deserve.

Honestly, I thought this was the bad ending for FEAR 3. Why? Well, throughout the whole game, Fettel has been saving Point Man many times. Specifically, the starting of the game when he was going to be killed by the two guards, the end of Interval 5 when the tower was going to crush him and Fettel psychic push him to safety and interval 7 when he was chased by Alma apparations, Fettel yet again protect him. And despite this, he still 'kill' Fettel. That's just wrong. Point Man has no gratitude.

They say Alma is dead... But I don't think she is really. For all we know that baby is her brand new self; her attempt to recreate a new host for her spirit if you will. If she's truly dead than that is one of the most unhappy endings to another tragic villain. And I hope she's finally got some peace because she deserves it.

Paxton made a good narrator but seriously he's a psychopath I'd rather have out of the picture in the end. I'd prefer this (happy?) ending just be the finale, FEAR was a good run, and it leaves a little open to the player to interpret. If Jin added "We've got enough evidence to put Genevieve Aristide away for life" then I'd REALLY be happy ending it.
