well my cousins actually a us soldier and he agrees with me. the point is that waterboarding isnt even a useful method for extracting information so it wouldnt help anyone. the UN and many organisations across the world as well as many people you probably blindly admire totally condemn the use of torture. you seem pretty sold on torture, but how about one day, on one issue, you make up your own mind, instead of just blindly accepting what your told and thinking that it makes you 'patriotic'

Most soldiers agree that water-boarding and other non-life threatening modes of interrogation are not only neccessary, but it can make the difference between living or dying. First of all, I don't blindly go along with public opinion simply because it's "patriotic". I made up my mind on this issue, after weighing pro's and con's, years ago! If someone told you that they had a suspected terrorist in custody and that this suspect probably had information which could result in another 9-11, and that your MOTHER was in a building that would be a target of that...WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
