Put together your own computer. You can get a more than good machine to play this game for about $700, assuming you already have other hardware than the box. And a computer is better than an Xbox if you want to play this game, since you can upgrade it for more new games as well. I`ll put together an AMD 6000+ quite cheap before this game is released. With good gfx, it will play smoothly.
The game seems like the best mmo out there and it does look like there revolutionizing the MMO genre but i still cant figure out why they had to have the loot drop in bags like that. They could have had it so you search the body instead.

Comparing this to WoW is like comparing apples to oranges.. okay maybe manderine oranges to oranges. This is just a different game based on realism, where as WOW is bsaed on more cartoonish theme. This is adult oriented where WoW is appropriate for all ages (aka a child's game that may interest adults). Better? No, just different. As for me, AoC seems like a better fit. Graphics are better, with all the different engines they are using (the shadow and foilage).

honestly, the game looks amazing, but the combat in Gods & Heroes is going to be better. The monsters in GnH will have cooler and much better looking combat abilities/animations than AoC. If you don't believe me, go check it out and see for yourself :)
Actually, there will be a monthly fee, just because its on a console doesnt mean you wont have to pay, it is after all an MMORPG, with servers that need constant maintenence and large call center. Theres also GM's, developers, and designers all working to expand and patch the game. I dont think they will work for free.
Whenever I see gameplay videos, they never do it justice. There's actually up to 8 moves (not including combo specalties) that you can do, yet anyone who I watch play it only used 2-3 moves. So rest assured you are not going to see a lot of repetition in the combat!

Personally, my computer tears up Oblivion like it's nothing; in fact I added a few mods to make it look even better graphically. The only problems I forsee is the bandwidth the game will require to hold all the players.
I just hope that they offer some restriction to where you can make your cities... they introduced that into SW: Galaxies and then eventually you had like 2391034 cities everywhere. I'm sure though that Funcom has looked into this. This game is gonna be incredible.
he lags because this stuffs from alpha... a really unpolished version of the game, and it will run on DX10 which will make it easier to run and get the good graphics out of it, and if you want you can dull everything down if you want it to run better
yeah molomix its going to be an M rated game because of all of the WoW like games with the cartoon look and stuff. And I guess end game will be more pvp based from what I hear but I'm sure they'll have pve content for all the pve peeps out there
Although I am going to be playing LOTRO this combat system looks amazing, the stabbing of mobs then kicking them off of the sword, killing multiple mobs at once, combo moves its all awesome. Congratulations to the devs for creating a truly unique combat system for an MMO, I hope other companies use this as an example for a great combat system.
But its still in Beta im sure it will be fixed by the time it has been released

This game is going to be great. Lots of content, amazing graphics, and that combat system looks amazing. Also, I'm a big Conan fan so I'm looking forward to the lore too. BTW, people have been asking about end game. It's going to be a huge pvp thing where guild build their own towns and have to defend it and siege other guild's towns. I'm sure there will be end game instances too of course though.

I just hope that they offer some restriction to where you can make your cities... they introduced that into SW: Galaxies and then eventually you had like 2391034 cities everywhere. I'm sure though that Funcom has looked into this. This game is gonna be incredible.

he lags because this stuffs from alpha... a really unpolished version of the game, and it will run on DX10 which will make it easier to run and get the good graphics out of it, and if you want you can dull everything down if you want it to run better

yeah molomix its going to be an M rated game because of all of the WoW like games with the cartoon look and stuff. And I guess end game will be more pvp based from what I hear but I'm sure they'll have pve content for all the pve peeps out there

Although I am going to be playing LOTRO this combat system looks amazing, the stabbing of mobs then kicking them off of the sword, killing multiple mobs at once, combo moves its all awesome. Congratulations to the devs for creating a truly unique combat system for an MMO, I hope other companies use this as an example for a great combat system.

Obviously its going to have a few buggs
But its still in Beta im sure it will be fixed by the time it has been released
im been wondering for so long why they couldnt make a game were you control the swords and movements another great thing its a 18 + and makes less wow kids to be able to come on and ruin it.

This game is going to be great. Lots of content, amazing graphics, and that combat system looks amazing. Also, I'm a big Conan fan so I'm looking forward to the lore too. BTW, people have been asking about end game. It's going to be a huge pvp thing where guild build their own towns and have to defend it and siege other guild's towns. I'm sure there will be end game instances too of course though.

The graphics seem great but not fit for an MMORPG. Add a few other players and I doubt even the most monstrous gaming machine today can handle it.
