I think a lot of the whisper EVPs sound like shuffles or something brushing against the recorder. The human mind naturally looks for things familiar, and voices, faces, and human shapes are familiar, so we see or hear them in simple things. I do believe in the paranormal, I love seeing these guys debunk claims though, because then we get to see what's real. But hey, it did kind of sound like jason.

A lot of the time EVP's can sound like voices but may just be background noise and we assume they are saying something because we're trying to think what word the noise sounds like.

I don't think that's an EVP. I think it's Grant's pant legs rubbing up against eachother as he's walking. If you look, you can tell he's taking a step right at the same time as the "voice."
i've heard a lot of EVPs and this is no different from a lot of them. it sounds like a robot-like response mixed with a breathey tone of voice. it could not have been a shoe or other wise they would have been able to make that out and they would not take keep this.
I have to say the Stanley was less than I expected. The setting around the hotel is the first let down. I expected a very remote hotel but the small town has grown up around it. The hotel is also very small compared to what you might expect. The 2nd floor is a little bit creepy. I have no opinion whether or not it is haunted.
I think sometimes it's just timing.Being there at the right time.I have stayed at the cresent hotel several times in all the huanted rooms and never saw anything myself,but alot of other people have.Did they have guided tours there?

It sounds like a really drawn out 'yes'. It is a whisper, and I don't think you could say whether it is a child or not. However, I think that you would need to clean it up and excude external factors before saying it is or isn't a definate EVP.
Though, considering the other EVPs that they recorded and audiables that were heared, I would say that it is a very strong contender. A very big well done to the person who first caught it. Their hearing mustbe impeciable.

"HAHAHAHAHA", however, we can't confirm that it is indeed Katie speaking there, the voice sounds older than 12, and as Jason and Grant like to put it, they don't like to put names to ghosts, just that there is something there.
What I like about TAPS is they go to great lengths to debunk any evidence they find. They try hard to find a rational explanation. They often get good EVPs. If you get a chance watch the Birdcage Theater tombstone Arizona and the one about the Manson murders.

Ok EVP I used a tape recorder one time... was messing around with it and said "this is the devil". yikes... I replayed it to find someone in the middle saying faintly "Its so cold". Don't try it. Go TAPS and find those ghost but be careful.
HelioPauseUK here on youtube has uploaded the whole thing. However, it really wasn't worth the time. Not much happened. The episode the week after sums up what they caught, which was far from impressive. Adds to their credibility though, it can't be awesome every time ^^ Have a nice day.

My point is yes we do have to consider that natural sounds can sometimes sound surprisingly like paranormal.. But sometimes the paranormal can sound like something common untill you listen more closely..
I have done some ghost hunting myself and have learned sooo much just from watching Jay and Grant.. I kind of wish I could learn more from them directly.. But I have learned alot from experience as well.. (and here is something interesting many times I picked up evp's I wasn't even trying when I caught them!!)
First off let me just say Jay and Grant are absolute professional paranormal investigators. So they know how to rule out what an evp is not.
For the rest of us some microphones are very very sensitive.. I have a work/hobby in the recording field and I use high grade microphones (and headsets) I found sometimes if I move my arm if I am close to the microphone
I think the "EVP" of the little girl in the tunnel sounded just too much like a person ont the other side of the wall, a person screwing w/them who knew their way around better than they did...just a thought. They didn't say if all staff was gone and I doubt it. Too many pple. there. I just doubt it. I cant say abt. the breaking glass in fatty's room though. thats a good one.

I have done ghost hunting as a fun thing to do and also to catch evidence of whatever..but the Ghost Hunters are a big name now..and there are more than plenty of people out there in the world with little children who are getting terrorized night after night..in the area that I live in..these people think that they are too much of a christian to have problems with spirits..I know better and also know that these children are living in fear..they have came to me and talked with me about it.

yea AND KATIE IS ALSO THE GIRL UNDER THE HOTEL CAVE THAT THEY CALLED OUT TO HER AND SHE SAID, "HELLO" VERY LOUD AND AUDIBLY THEY THOUGHT SOME HOMELESS GIRL WAS IN THERE BUT SHE ACTUALLY TALKED, SAID SOMETHING ELSE THEY COULDNT UNDERSTAND AND LAUGHED ...IT WAS ERRY.. "HAHAHAHAHA", however, we can't confirm that it is indeed Katie speaking there, the voice sounds older than 12, and as Jason and Grant like to put it, they don't like to put names to ghosts, just that there is something there.

What I like about TAPS is they go to great lengths to debunk any evidence they find. They try hard to find a rational explanation. They often get good EVPs. If you get a chance watch the Birdcage Theater tombstone Arizona and the one about the Manson murders.

Ok EVP I used a tape recorder one time... was messing around with it and said "this is the devil". yikes... I replayed it to find someone in the middle saying faintly "Its so cold". Don't try it. Go TAPS and find those ghost but be careful.

HelioPauseUK here on youtube has uploaded the whole thing. However, it really wasn't worth the time. Not much happened. The episode the week after sums up what they caught, which was far from impressive. Adds to their credibility though, it can't be awesome every time ^^ Have a nice day.

By the way speaking of the little girl in the tunnel (Stanley hotel basement voice)That's the voice that kept saying hello.. Then laughs.. I don't know if anyone else noticed.. But Jayson (I believe)was saying, "Hello.. What's your name?" The "ghost" answers him!! It says what sounds like a name.. But neither Jay or Grant noticed (At least they didn't mention it) then the "ghost" does that creepy laugh right after it says a name! although I am still deciding on what the name sounds like.

My point is yes we do have to consider that natural sounds can sometimes sound surprisingly like paranormal.. But sometimes the paranormal can sound like something common untill you listen more closely..

I have done some ghost hunting myself and have learned sooo much just from watching Jay and Grant.. I kind of wish I could learn more from them directly.. But I have learned alot from experience as well.. (and here is something interesting many times I picked up evp's I wasn't even trying when I caught them!!)

There is so much to consider on evp's..
First off let me just say Jay and Grant are absolute professional paranormal investigators. So they know how to rule out what an evp is not.
For the rest of us some microphones are very very sensitive.. I have a work/hobby in the recording field and I use high grade microphones (and headsets) I found sometimes if I move my arm if I am close to the microphone

it can sound exactly like a whisper.. (in fact the first few times that that happened I thought that's what it was!)
After a few experiments I found it was just the rubbing of the meterial of my clothing..

I think the "EVP" of the little girl in the tunnel sounded just too much like a person ont the other side of the wall, a person screwing w/them who knew their way around better than they did...just a thought. They didn't say if all staff was gone and I doubt it. Too many pple. there. I just doubt it. I cant say abt. the breaking glass in fatty's room though. thats a good one.
