  • Cool

  • Great job my horse is so fast but I love him he is also very old but his walk is most horse trot and his trot is some horses canter and his canter is a slow horses gallop

  • Well done! How did you stay in the saddle so well? I need info!!!

  • She did very well for her first canter. The only thing id say is try not to lean forward but that comes with practice. She is lucky her first time was on a lunge line, my first time was my horse taking off on me and me flying into a fence.

  • I wish I was on lunge the first time lol i couldnt control him i was so little

  • Wow that was really good for a first canter! And dont listen to people who say that your on a lunge line and its way better! Believe me i was on a lunge line when i first cantered and it was interesting haha but its good your on a lunge line your safer! Great job!

  • Wow Better than Me. Ive been riding for 10 years. My first canter was on a shire mare who unexpectidly took off. I now jum 4 foot on Tbs.

  • dont worry i was on a lunge line too my first time cantering!! SO SHUTUP PEOPLE!!

  • Lovely canter! U sat in really well :D

  • Oh... On a lunge line.. Should of said so. (: It's ok I guess.. For the first time. But it's way better off the lunge line for your first go (:

  • @lucypupii why? i dont see an issue you learn the feel of it and how to control it without putting anyone at risk.... stop being a snobby brat...

  • @Panasonic890 yeah, if you think about it western is a lot more different than english. It could be a couple of things that you dont even notice. maybe the other 14h horses have shorter strides than your 16h? or it could be just practice, good luck :)

  • Still working on my canter!! Haha, used to ride when I was like, 6, never got into a canter, now I'm taking English lessons again and I have posting down perfectly still, have my sitting trot, just can't seem to canter English!! But I CAN CANTER (and a slow gallop), BAREBACK, on my own horse. He's 16hh, and the horses I ride at my barn are only 14hh, so why can't I get my canter? Any help? Or... It's just practice, isn't it? Plus, my own horse is a TB-TWH so his canter is super smooth.

  • m first time cantering was amazing!!!!!!

    on my favourite horse monster!

  • i just started cantering today, it was a blast!

  • @kaylimepie Thank you :)

  • i remember my first time cantering it was awsome!!! you did great!!

  • nicee work =) i remeber my fist time cantering on a morgan...it felt like a little kiddie rollar coaster ;)

  • Very godd for the first time !

  • he has a NICE canter! wow!

    good job (:

i almost fell off my first time cantering xD

  • i felled XD!on my first canter

  • hahaaaa gotta love the stupidity when some people (like me and you)canter xD

    ahhh, good times (: .

  • wow! tht was really great that that horse had a really smooth canter, or at least it looked like it!!! he looked really nice to ride! great job. :)

  • its always fun 2 canter! when i first cantered i rode a little pony named pipin, i have a video of my riding him. but that wasnt the first time i cantered him, lol

  • did u love it?

  • have you yet?

  • so did you?

  • oooh, thats always fun!

  • that was really good!!!! when i first cantered (last Thursday) i did it on my own,no lunge line at ALL!! (i stopped using the lunge line when i first started trotting)

  • GREAT job!!! pretty horse

  • Awesome job! Cantering is so fun! I remember my first canter. I was like...WOOO FUNN-NESS!

And your horse, might I add, is GORGEOUS! I mean, his/her tail looks like a waterfall when you're moving.

That was like, a perfect first time! props to you!

  • i remember the first time i cantered

it involved lots of bucking no strurups and galloping lol

needless to day i didn't get to learn on a line lol

but yea its nice to have a horse w/ a nice canter to learn on

    good job!

  • was you abit scared then??

  • thank you.(:

I personally think it is too.

  • i think cantering is easier than troting because there is no posting you just sit there and go with the rythem of the horse

and when i jump i can find better distances because you can tell when the horse is going to jump eaiser

  • i love cantering its fun

i dont feel like im going to fall unless the horse is fast cantering in a small space

but its the sit trotting to get to the canter i feel like im falling

  • haha i am starting to see how much better people start cantering on a lunge line.. my trainer just told me to do it and i did.. i didnt fall off, but i was so scared!

  • that is really good for your first canter!!!! The first time I tried to canter the horse freaked and a fell!!!! haahahahah well great job!!!! 5 stars *****
