GOTO the Irshell MSO dir...TOP LEFT CORNER...inside the folder IRSHELL/PATCH... Run the Patch PRX file for firmware 3.80 or 3.70..which ever vesion you are using. THis will patch IrShell. So it can be used properly.

hey i put your 3.81 ir shell like you sadi im running 3.71m33-4 and when i loaded ir shell it sadi incorrect firmware not on firmware 2.71 wtf happened

Hi ive made a magic memory stick but im not sure if ive done the right thing.

First i formatted MS on PC.

Then added files e.g. KD, registry, PSP

Then wrote IPL.

Can u tell me if thats all the right stuff.

This is a Slim version PSP. Running 3.71m33-4 CFW. Accually a Daxter packaged PSP. I originally updated this PSP to 3.80 Sony firmware and was stuck for a month. Until I found out how to MOD this battery into a Pandora Battery and make a magic memory stick. Then I bought a new battery which I use all the time.

If you want to know how to make a pandora battery this way let me know.

Irshell will work on slim or phat PSP's with custom formware versions 3.71m33 thru 3.71m33-4. I dont know about the lower firmwares. IRshell is NOT compatible with the NEW custom firmware 3.80 M33 (any version). ONLY the Phat PSP supports IR remote control NOT the slim.

it sucks not having custom firmware plus my psp is bricked and i cant find ne way to unbrick it if anyone has any suggestions as to wat i kan do that would be great p.s.. can 3.80 have ir shells

The custom firmware 3.71m33-4. 3.80 m33 won't work with IRShell yet.

And yet universal remote works. But only on Phat PSP , not slim.
