Ppl don't seem to understand this video. The mags don't make it change faster, they simply allow the sensor to recognise your there. Triggering them like any other vehicle, this only applys to scooters, bikes, etc. If your in car it'll recognise you anyway, so the mags won't make a difference.

For those confused about how this works:

We have an intersection like this near my house. It's for a minor road that crosses a highway. It would be pointless to stop the highway if there's nobody that needs to cross. If it doesn't see anyone waiting at the light, it skips the next signal change. However, if someone DOES needs to cross the highway, it senses that someone's there and allows the signal to change the next time it comes around. It doesn't force it to change, but allows it.

It's illegal to trigger a forced green light in the same manner that emergency vehicles do, but this is just making your small vehicle able to be sensed by the ground loop. These intersections won't bother changing lights unless it thinks there's a vehicle there. When it works right, it makes the intersection more efficient.

@yourvidisbad101 It's not meant for 4-way type of intersections, nor does it instantly turn the light green. It's designed for a small road crossing a larger busy road. If there is nobody waiting on the small road, the signals skip the next red light so the busy road can keep going. If someone shows up at the intersection, it switches back to standard operation and says "Hey, there's a car here. Next time around, don't skip the light change cause someone needs it".

Larger cars are able to trigger them, so the reward for driving a small fuel efficient car is waiting at stop lights more, if it's illegal to do this it should be illegal to have larger cars.
