@inventiveinsanity , i understand what you are saying but you cant just snap someones neck, its impossible, ive been doing martial arts my whole life and im a career nurse and there is one thing to know is that there is so much muscle and bone the only way really is to droo somone on there head really all these movies where someone breaks someone elses neck with one hand is completeley impossible

It's just as good, as average gun kata scene in any Honk-Kong made action movie. Nothing spectacular, but hell, it could be worse.

For me the best gun kata scene is fight between cleric Preston and Father in Equilibrium.

Gun Kata is fictitious. Awesome, but fake.

This is not Gun Kata. This is more similar to some kind of coreographed CQB. Fighting techniques like these actually exist and are more than just possible.

However, a lot of the maneuvers here are highly inefficient. Thee swing far too hard, throwing themselves off balance. Catching the wrist of the opponent's swing in the fashion at 0:08 is not recommended.

The move at 0:12-0:13 is very effective, but he is too slow to finish it.

I think for a fight it wasn't poor, but the Gun kata scenes from Equilibrium were more action-paced.
