I used the atrac, i always do if i'm doing any kind of climbing but i only used the rear lock once and I really didn't need to.

I dont have the atrac or rear lock on mine, Have not got stuck yet though. Its just a more of a challange without it though.
yea in most cases you def don't need it, but at times and can come in handy. What do you drive like an older tacoma casue i know some of them don't have lockers?
