By saying the best trick pulled was convincing you that he is you (the ego is you) what is that trying to say? we can't surely be totally free of our ego - but rather - we can manage it?
When someone comitting suicide says "I can no longer live with myself." Who is the 'myself' they can no longer life with? Moreso, who is the 'I' which sees this as being true? By understanding 'myself' (the ego) and 'I' (consciousness/awareness/mindfulness, etc.) I think it is possible to manage.
Well, at least manage better than if you didn't know there was a relationship at all.
@Veirtimid hey thanks for watching and writing ... we created the video for a public presentation setting where children do attend so felt it best to cut out anything that might seem to "offend" :)

@Veirtimid i guess lots of buildings skip lower floors because of private offices and/or tall lobby ceilings ... however, i believe the point of the 13th floor has to do with his fears and superstitions. not sure where you live V but in the U.S. the #13 is like a bad omen.
@Veirtimid according to ancient egipcian Kabala, 13 is the number of death. "only thru inner death (psichological death, or ego death, can one rebirth into virtue, as to say, into the arms of God."
i saw another ending of the movie, where ive says "we didnt do this coz we like you...we did it coz....we are you" does this mean they are starting to con him? (though it appears they wiped him clean)
A very strange, but great scene from a very great movie. I like it, how they set the first pawn after mister green did his first movie on combating his ego. Nice sign.
@julian73de Of course it is you think the media their funders therefore owners , are not in control of their very selves , oh dear if they all knew the truth why would they care about sellout celebs , corporate owned sport , puppet politicians or their owners propaganda ..
This was really cool. The only thing I wonder is why the voice for Ray Liotta's character at the end is not shown to be that of the ego as well. "Fear me, fear me". Not identifying that there makes me think that subconciously there is the notion that Mr. Green is "good" and Ray Liotta's character is "Bad" when the ego seems to me to be an impersonal thing. Everyone has one. Just an observation. Glad somebody did this!

@Veirtimid 13 is the number of christ ( cause he had twelve disciples) which stands for ascendance.

@crowxe it means that they have understood that the ego is false, and everything is connected, hence, they are him, he is them. I am you, you are me.

@crowxe Well Zach and Avi are not real... They represent diffrent... like sorter he wasn't real either, he represented the conscious itself.

You don't need to make us aware of the ego. If you don't get when the ego is talking, you don't get this movie.
If you don't get the movie, chances are you don't like it.

This movie is based on ROY MASTERS BOOK
" HOW TO CONQUOR NEGATIVE EMOTIONS"
& " HOW YOUR MIND CAN KEEP YOU WELL"
HE ALSO HAS A CD CALL "BE STILL AND KNOW" THAT WILL SHOW YOU THE EGO ,AND HELP YOU SEPERATE FROM IT.
ROY MASTERS has been teaching people about this for over 50 yrs go to THE
FOUNDATION OF HUMAN UNDERSTANDING
WEB SITE AND HEAR HIM SPEAK ABOUT IT.
i HOPE HE GET THE CREDIT FOR THIS MOVIE, HE ALSO TEACHE S YOU HOW TO watch the ego without becoming a part of it so .Liaten to anvice line.
koodsha99 2 years ago
@jvaish Actually they were both bad because of their ego's. Mr. Green faced his ego in the elevator and Liotta's was letting his ego run rampant.
