  • Kristiansand Airport! (2:45)

  • at 6:44 it's Nice Côte d'Azur airport with the 04L approch

  • nicee man awesome

  • great film, I can use it for learning. Now I know operating the F very well. Thanks to you.

  • whats that icy snowy airport at 7:42?!!?

  • The airport at around 3:00 is Kristiansand Kjevik Airport KRS in Norway.

  • PRetty cool final at 3:02

  • what airport @ 3:14

  • @FlyingFilipe Kjevik, Kristiansand Airport. Located in Norway =)

  • i love the fokker 70 cockpit *:*

  • It does not have slats ;)

  • okay, but what's the reason exactly then?

If it wouldn't dive it would stall because it doesn't have slats?

  • no, it just wouldn't descend fast enough, or it could even climb, if it had a more "regular" profile

  • It's just because of the aerodynamics. otherwise it will stall or will climb. Because the F50 has a small amount of flap degrees thats the reason. The F70/100 doesn't have slats too and normally doesn't a nosedive ;)

  • Okay that's clear..

    Btw F70 does have slats.

    KLC pilot told me that

  • Well, that's normal...But I don't know why...

  • lol nosedive ?

  • Waouuuuw le premier aterissage et ...;:s

  • wooooooooooot, wat happened to the first one?

  • At 05:45 they are doing an autoland

But for what reason is he moving the yoke by hand? He disengaged his autopilot at 06:15

    Nice video

    Greetz

  • I don't know why, but i think hes moving the yoke because they had some crosswind.

  • Very good video. With an autoland the hands are kept near to the controls in case of a failure of the automatics near the ground. The landing you refer to is completed automatically and then the A/P is disconnected as it should be in the landing roll. The F100 does provide centreline guidance but there is a performance penalty to apply because the aircraft will use more runway on an autoland than a manual.

  • Wow, love the full autoland at 05:45 of the F70.

    Great video...

  • Good old times, Flying with the Cockpit door open :)

  • Hi! I would love to see KLM from LAX-AMS on DVD in the future. Any possibilities?

Send an e-mail to World Air Route?

  • Yes, you can keep an eye on the website and see when a new airline is announced... You can also subscribe to the Just Planes newsletter and then you get the news by email...
