I just replayed mgs2, and honestly, i really don't think they should've made raiden so badass in this game. the reason being it's just such a sudden transformation of character, a really sudden, pretty unlikely transformation honestly.

Nah, this is the Raiden you get when he starts accepting his past. Leads to night terrors, alcoholism and deep seeded hatred for Solidus & The Patriots.

So he goes off to save Olga's child and is captured. Then they perform more experiments on him ad make him this.

How is that a sudden transformation? By the end of MGS2 he wasn't so whiny.

well, that's the backstory they give you in mgs4. they just kinda say, o, these stuff happened so he's badass now. but do we get to see that? not really. as players, we play mgs2, then chronologically mgs4, and bam! he becomes a cyborg ninja. honestly, if the public's reaction wasn't so bad for raiden, i doubt theywould've tweaked his character to this extent.

cos in MGS2, you played as raiden and he was a complete fag compared to solid snake, who was wandering around disguised as a marine.

also, raiden gets naked near the end and you have to play as a naked man.

metal gear solid 4 is so damn good! it's just aswell coz otherwise my ps3 would have been a big waste of money.

i've been a big fan of the metal gear series since mgs1 came out in the 90's. which is probably why its so much better than any other game. call of duty 4, uncharted, motorstorm, none of those games are even worth getting a ps3. can anyone suggest any other good games?
