I'll tell you most difs, 416 ss piston, strike plate instead o gas key, ribs on ass end of carrier to help prevent carrier tilt (what happens when u put a piston in an m16) crapy hk mags, a freefloat barrel (which a m4 can do too more effectively without op rod) heavy contour barrel (yay let's add more weight with the piston) drain holes by chamber (which can be done in any rifle). Oh yeah let's jack up the price
Why flaws did the 416 link out? The m4 ha a linear "floating" BCG which is not ment for a piston you want a piston gun buy one designed from the ground up. People been shoehorning pistons in the m16 platform sense 1970 or so and hasn't caught on why....because the operating mech isn't meant for a piston which opens up more problems then solves
Dude shut the fuck up 1st off Remington makes the mil version of the acr bushmaster made the recalled civi version. 2nd the only thing m4 about the scar is the layout of the safety and bolt release and mags other than that it's nothing like the m4 3rd off you obviously never touched or field striped any of them so you don't know shit and would know this if you have
I think you did a pretty good job on this list, except that the ACR isn't really in use, im sure its a fine assault rifle, but the true test of any weapon is actual combat
Bushmaster ACR - the Adaptive Combat Rifle. It's a modular system. That means you can dissassemble one and switch the configuration within seconds. It can also be configured to fire AK rounds. I just believe it's better than the FN SCAR because SCARs are built off an AR-15 platform, and ACRs are totally remade.
They may have been made different companies but basic design is the same, although did some research on the 416 and they really kinked out the flaws of the AR design.
Possibly. But most M4s and M16s are made by American manufacturers, HK416s are made by Heckler & Koch, a German company. There could be internal differences, but there are definately external differences.
