Like Komakii said, I work there and that just kinda killed the questions. But we still got asked what "anime" was. "Japanese catoons" always explains it. ^_^ I wish I could have seen the cop. My manager told me about it though. good job. It's always good to keep them on their toes.
OMG, you guys got followed by security? did you ask the cop why he was asking you questions? When i was staying at my hotel, they would put us in the very back of the restaurant so we wouldn't be seen. There was an older couple who were asking us about why we were dressed up and we explained, and they thought it was cool and i think they went to check it out bc they said they wanted to see it for themselves... :D
Yeah, he followed us all the way outside, 'cause on of our friends had to use the ATM. That's when he asked my friend where she was from. He left after she told him, so I didn't want to bring him back or anything. 'Sides, he had other cosplayers to follow around. o_O
Lol, getting old people into anime! Always an accomplishment.
The people shopping there gave us funny looks, too. :P Especially when we were standing around the hair care isle. When we were in the deli, this family actually asked us what was going on that everyone was dressed up. They didn't understand "anime" to I said "Japanese cartoons" and they got it. XD

xD we went in that publix! But my sister works their, so we didnt get suspisions >>;
but since i was sakura with long pink hair, i got many weird looks and many little kids informing me that i have pink hair. :]
