The countries that are doing the best in the world are "socialist". Look at all the scandinavian countries for a start.

What's killing the US is not "socialism", but corporations and the banking sectors owning all the politicians and making sure that all the gravy goes to them, regardless of what happens to the average american, even the world. And that is called "Fascism".

At 22.000 $/year income for a family of 4, the American poverty line is somewhere above the middle class line in Iran. This makes ridiculous such reports made in countries that should concentrate on fixing their domestic problems rather than spending their taxpayers money to engage in a propaganda war with someone out of its league. The West has enormous problems, but I doubt they would even consider adopting "the Iranian model".

If you were to say this to them, some of them might say say "but this isn't a free market" That's the big secret. There is no free market. What the "free market" gives us is a world dominated by cartels, criminal enterprises, and financial elites.
