It happened at 8:15 AM Pacific Time on 9/6/10 and an innocent couple was hit while walking down the street in front of their house! The pilot DID try to land in the street when his plane wouldn't gain altitude, but a wing hit a street light before they struck the retaining wall... We couldn't go in or out of our subdivision for four hours while they investigated the crash!!

@loranalary That's what the pilot was trying to do but the tip of his wing hit a street light and that caused him to veer to the left where they hit a cinder block retaining wall and burst into flames. Just saw your post as I was cleaning out some of the junk in my favorites...
