People will try to impose there own limiting views on you. I tried a Segway with a seat but kept crashing. So Ibot is next on my list to try. When I do get the dough to get to buy it, me and DJ Shortness are going to make mad robot love!

The iBot is not the most necessary chair. There are alternative elevator/lift based chairs that can actually scale higher than the ibot. Furthermore, the stair functions of the ibot are questionably secure/safe. You'd be much better off convincing your state medicare to pay for a less expensive, likely more appropriate chair. Shit, I want an ibot too, but it just isn't feasible for anyone who gets benefits.

Permobile is the brand of chair I use, and is likely your best bet. It's wisest to visit a wheelchair dealer so that they can determine what wheelchair is the best fit for you. The iBot is an experimental non-medical luxury device for the rich and disabled. No insurance company will purchase it. Personally, considering some of the safety issues it's had, I wouldn't really *want* to us it.

Got here after watching a vid by a guy named Kyle about being "The Kid in the Wheelchair" I give you props...I've seen the Ibot and it is awesome...wonder if Apple knows about it though...neway, good luck and I hope you reach your goal soon...and have a drink at that bar on me!!!

First off, Shortness happens to be one of my favorite DJ's in this area where I live.I sincerely hope she gets that iBot chair.

Too bad that Electric Luau was a disaster. (At least I thought it was because I've been there,and have left before the "Ghost-Busters" Guy got thrown out.)It's too bad some people have to act like SUCH idiots and give the rave scene a bad name. Also,I found out the starter in my car was going out right before I left!

Thats a tight chair the cost of wheelchairs is crazy or anything to do with people in wheelchair and (the only thing Vocational Rehabilitation will do is give you the run a round thats what they do to me fuck them) I am a 23 year old C-6 quad
