This is a stupid argument: its like saying who was better in Pink Floyd; Roger waters or Syd Barrett.  Bon was the Spirit of AC/DC I wish he hadn't died but he did.

But Johnson is a superior frontman and a better vocalist than Bon. And the proof of the pudding is in the eating. AC/DC became a megaband when Johnson took over as frontman. So a lot of AC/DC'S success is down to him, not Bon you can't argue with that.

Just because Bon liked to party doesnt make him less of a legend. What did make him a legend you ask? He was THE lead singer of THE Rock n Roll Problem Childs in the 70s and made them what they are today.

I love both Brian and Bon. Brian has more of a "laid back biker" voice...probably was a good choice for the 80's...I think one of the main reasons for their success. Weather you like it or not....their biggest record was "Back in black"....which brought a lot of people into the world of AC/DC .

Now Bon.....raw, honest, quirky and just cool....more so because he didn't try to be. I think that's why people love him so much. They were more of a punk band then....with a TON of vitality. Brian doesn't have that kind of vitality. He's more of the "cool"....theatric kind of guy. Both kick ass. To "me" Brian sounds like a guy that tries (and succeeds) to sing. Where as Bon seems like he just "let it out"....he never "tried" to be a "singer....he just rocked. In the end....my favorite....Bon:)

I was lucky to see AC/DC with Bon & Brian, lost track how many times. Their music kicks-ass !!

Stop bitchin' about Brian. If Angus and Malcolm thought he was good enough, who the fuck are you to say he's not? Bon was only with AC/DC for 5-6 years, and Brian's voice sounded fine for his first 5-6 years. If Bon lived that long, his voice would deteriorate just the same.

Well, as they've gotten older, they've definitely improved as songwriters. I just like Brian's voice more. It's very bluesy and just cool sounding, and I mean all the way from BIB to SUL. He may not have his old voice, but he makes it work and sound good with the music on SUL and Ballbreaker.

you should just appreciate that they are doing a song that is rare on there setlist whether you think he can sing it well or not isnt necesary. brian lost his voice because he gave it his all for every song he sung and then he lost his amazing screaming voice that he has in the 1980 - 1985 era

Brian does an okay job at covering Bon's songs. You just have to live with it. It just like when Sammy Hagar was singing David Lee Roth's songs. It didn't sound the same, but it was better than not hearing it.

Ok, Brian is not Bon. We all know. Sorry, Bon passed away (we all miss him). But Brian is quite unique in of himself. AC/DC would have floundered after Bon if they didn't find the right replacement. The did, however.
