  • The bridge lyrics are simply...beautiful...

    "Things can go wrong

    Things can go right..."

    GOD BLESS PAUL!

  • Paul really did miss Linda- even stopping writing music during his time of writing 1 of his orchestral/choral works when she died and only making music again 3 years later and the first music he did was a COncert for Linda and in his oratorio he included a part of lament for Linda and released Linda's only album "Wide Prairie" before any of his own work. and big surprise after MIlls was so awful and George died he was sad and it wore him out so hes not as energetic or young as he was

  • Paul's music is beautiful- all of it pretty much- and even if 1 person dislikes a certain song someone else loves it. That's what is great about Paul, he has variety, a song for everyone

  • It was first recorded in 1986 -- which would have made it a contender for 'Press to Play' -- but was included on 'Flaming Pie', after being completely re-recorded about ten years later.

Could it have been a Beatles song?

Well, if The Beatles were still around in 1986, it definitely _could_.

I don't find that the mere presence of Ringo and George Martin somehow validates it as a Beatles record, though; so in the end it's down to the song itself and our imaginations.

  • In my opinion, Paul's last truly great, great song. This could have been a Beatles song. So many things happening here...George Martin's arrangement (one of his last), Jeff Lynne working with Paul, one of Linda's last performances, and of course Ringo.

    thank you.

    Ram on,

    Joe.

  • So true may be Linda took part of him with her I duno. I like what he's done since but this is prb my favourite. Never thought about it being a Beatles song, but I can here it.

    Cheers

  • There's a doozy from Memory Almost Full...'You Tell Me'...gorgeous acoustic tune...I also like 'How Kind Of You' from Chaos And Creation...good latter day stuff...

  • @kringles4 Jenny Wren, end of discussion imo :)

  • Yes! Here is the wonderful Linda and the video

I have been watching endless times before.

I am glad I found it again.I am glad we have videos. I am sad that Linda is not in person with us anymore. Her Spirit lives with us forever!

Thank you very much for all those priceless videos!
