BAD RAP is the best bunch of folks, and this is one sweet pet. We have a dog we found abandoned on the freeway with a broken hip, a pit bull just like TugTug here - and four years on, she's a wonderful pet and a great dog.

He's just small :) My Staffy is only 43 pounds and everyone thinks she's still a puppy. But she's an adult!

I no staffy's are small but there not that small, usually a bit bigger, i think this dog is like 8 month.

Before I started having larger dogs, I used to think the same every time I saw pits/american bulldogs/etc. Now that I have owned 2 large dogs, when I see these kinds of dogs, I see sweetness, love, etc. It's amazing how a lack of experience influences our beliefs. 

Tug Tug is sweeet, love that guy and am happy to see him with such big smiles on his face.

i was raised with staffys they are such sweet dogs! Everyone thinks they are mean but when I was a little girl I took scissors and cut a tip off my dogs ear (I didn't know better!) and he didn't bite me at all! Luckily we got him to the hospital so all was good, but still a truly mean dog would have bit my nose off.

And over 38 kids have been killed by Motorboat accidents in the same state of California. Do you want to ban motorboats too? In either case, Pitbulls are no more dangerous any OTHER risk factor. My fav breed. They do not always get along with other dogs unless socialized when young but they are just such lovable people dogs and great with kids when treated and raised right! Gotta luv the bully breeds!

never say "only" whatever -- even at 13 there's so much you can do! Talk to a local rescue, they may have some jobs that you can do (like filling kongs) or helping with puppies. You never know until you ask.
