St. Augustine lost a toe from leprosy and it "came back". Padre Pio also healed a woman who had one eye by it "coming back". So yes, God does heal amputees.

@afielsch No I did not, I more than sufficiently answered why God does not heal amputees: we have no records either way, so we can not say, but we do know beyond any reasonable doubt that God does work miracles.

1) the religious (xtians) say prayer works. its in the bible look it up. (or watch the vid again for the proper reference)

2) god works miracles cuz ppl pray for them.

3) question in the vid: why are amputees left out and get no miracles even though they pray just like the other xtians and should have the same miracle success?

btw there are lots of records that it does not work for amputees. not a single time.

@afielsch problem: again, and I address this issue: there is no evidence either way as to weather amputees get healed or not. The point we are making is that people have faith in God's healing power and they are cured (many times of terminal illness). It is possible that in the last 200 years there has been at least one healing of an amputee at Lourdes, that is all you need to prove the point, just one. Again though, there is no evidence that I know of to support either claim.

I have however given more than sufficient answers for why we are rational to believe in healing miracles.

there is an explanatory part in the vid giving important context to the question presented, which you need to consider when answering. in other words, there is a deeper layer if you will, to the question that you need to understand in order for the q to make sense. plz, can you tell what that context is? @afielsch I have done more than answer the question to anyone's satisfaction. here is a quesion in turn for you: why don't YOU think God heals amputees. In my answer to the question I explain that there is NOT any evidence (at least that I knew of) to support either view, but I did show that there are miraclulous healings more profound than amputations going on daily. There is nothing to rule out the possibility that one of those thousands of pp; @ lourdes is an amputee.

Also: google search "lourdes france" and see for yourself if there are any amputee healings recorded. Again, just because there is no evidence to support a calim, that does not mean we can draw ANY conclusions about it. That is the plead to ignorance: a logical fallacy. And that is ALL Atheism is: logical fallacy passed off as "intellectual."

My first kneejerk reaction was to answer the 10 questions, but decided not to. The only amputation I know of that was cured was after Peter cut the ear off the centurian.

@graffffik you haven't proven anything. plus, you have only show that you don't really know anything about world religions at all: They are so different from one another that it isn't even funny. The Epic of Gilgamesh, while it is slightly similar with it's flood story still doesn't upset the Jewish monotheist view of God at all really. Even that is fundamentally and substantially different from the Old Testament accounts of Yahweh.
